Sehki turned back to give Candy the directions to dodge and maneuver from Sven's acid spit and Vena turned the dog's slobber into flaming crescents.
She was doing well up until the arrogant generals agreed to combined powers, leading to the dog StellArt's user to ignite and explode the Musca's spells, bowing them back aside.
"Candy, you okay?" They were closing the gap.
"You were Shadow the whole time? I'll get revenge on you and that fashion freak you call a member of an Inner Circle!"
"Were you just trying to get close to hurt the other heirs?"
"Sven, you're a clout chasing prick. Vena! How's Damien doing?"
"Oh your dog? He's so sweet!"
"Glad, thanks for taking care of him," equally grateful, and distracting them for Candy to recover while playing possum. Need to slow them down without wasting too much magic, morphing his shadow into a gun with several barrels. That's it!
He grabbed Candy's hand. "Asteriem Arts time! Combining shadow and ice magic, what's a good name," leading to her whispering a suggestion he loved as she channeled her magic into it.
Together, they yelled, "Asteriem Art: Frost-Night Spreader!" Waving it left and right, the two fired compressed ice bullets at Vena and Sven, creating smoke colliding with their acid bombs. He waved it up, focusing on single shots to make pillars that the latter slammed into, and creating an icy obstacle course for Vena to slip and struggle on, slowing them down.
He let go, sensing Candy's strength waning. "You good?"
"I can keep going," heading to the geysers from the sauna to deal with. To help her focus, he used earth energy to fire enough chunks to stop them from blasting them all up to the ceiling.
She changed up her skates to make a board of ice, making bear shaped ramps to swerve from, helping them converse energy while he did the steering for them to make mid air tricks that made the crowd cheer.
"I was so afraid of sky surfing back in Shugoda. It's so much fun now when I'm older."
"And without being chased by sociopathic nepo babies." They laughed as they entered into the Whirlpool Cavern, filled to the brim with the aforementioned natural disaster, taking Cree's training into account: poor energy into your feet to grind against the vortex's walls and blast off.
Though almost getting stuck in two, they did that for a while until a car blasted through right through the maelstrom stuck in, forcing them to make claws holding onto the hoodie.
"Is that an Auriga StellArts fae?"
"Capel. Rigal must've figured he'd need someone fast to get through such a narrow place. Gotta admit, clever."
They peered into a somewhat visible sunroof, spotting Taylor and the Scutum user Candy knew: Nyra Johan, another ex-bully sitting in the back, transferring her energy through the car:
Giving her heir road head as he chilled in the back seat with glee while he was fingering her.
"He's stimulating her to increase her energy."
"Or just being horny and getting extremely lucky with his dorm mates. Got a stiletto for me," which she made for him in an instant. "Thanks. Call for me if the other two arrive," watching her nod before diving into his own shadow, sliding inside.
He looked around as he hid underneath Taylor's legs: Capel was driving, yawning. Rigal was demanding to hold out for a while longer, transferring his energy while the Coalition heir was moaning.
"Taylor, can you save this for later? Our family's watching!"
"When did you get a hard on for the rules? You know you wanna come back and join us. Or relax, you're saving your strength to take on Xia and Sehki at the end. Nyra's doing such a," thrusting in her mouth, "great job."
He had the same plan as me? Clever.
"It's just not the same," sighing. "Amarilis."
"She got taken by Cluster, he's on our side, remember? Come on, this Scutum's good at making your scrotum feeling magical"
Rigal was about to step into the back when he saw a hand on the roof. The light shined as he cleared up the screen, seeing enough light and looking down at the weird outline of their shadow.
"Sehki!"
Candy's voice said it before he could, who jumped out, elbowing Taylor in the groin. He belched out rage, swinging a fist of water into Rigal and Nyra's path while Sehki dived back and flew to the front, kicking Capel and making him swerve and struggle to maintain control of the car.
"You won't escape," Rigal yelled, punching Eagusts in the car randomly to catch him, but Sehki threw the stiletto at the car window intending to break out of it. Instead, it hit Nyra, who fell onto Taylor's scrotum so hard he punched the window, breaking it for Sehki to leap out of.
Candy grabbed him, creating a curved ramp in front of Capel's car, forcing it airborne and spinning in a tornado, approaching Sven who was flying high above the whirlpools, and Vena, who was being transferred energy to make a miniature phoenix Xia was powering up.
The car crashed into them all and the ceiling. Amongst the ten person chaos, the supporters all had one target in mind.
"Get Sehki and his annoying bitch," Sven yelled, with Vena, Capel, and Nyra jumping at them.
Sehki jumped off the ceiling with Candy in tow. "Show him you're no pet, you're a bear!"
She made a dress around her clothes made of ice. While he tied the shadow around her torso, she finalized a small blue shaped bear arm with a holster, and a frozen cape reminiscent of the bridal dress.
"Ursa Minor Art: Callisto's Claw!"
"You're nothing special," Nyra yelled, trying to hit her with an oceanic shield alongside Capel's mangled car parts, only for Candy to slash them away, frightfully holding firm, blocking Vena before swatting her away.
Sven jumped off Xia's follower intending to cut her down when Sehki spun her around, stopping her stinger dead cold with her cape.
"I'm just a designer. And I'll create our path to win!" She charged up a blast from the bear arm Sehki bolstered with the rubble from the ceiling crash, firing head sized snowball spheres blasting Sven heading on and forcing the others to protect their heirs while the impact propelled her and Sehki through the cavern.
They crossed the line, making them the first to complete lap one.
