Lorena exited the auditorium, demanding Calypsa stop.
"You been chum with the four Heirs for years. Then Sehki comes back and suddenly you start training him, only to let him kill him? That's your way to becoming queen?"
The dark skinned young adult turned, chuckling in her direction.
"I'll answer your questions with more questions. Why would a lawyer's daughter be sucking up to an heir you have got every right to sue for years? And only now you act? How do I know you won't do the same thing to him? If he leaves, will you go back to Taylor's fin?"
Lorena sucked her teeth. "Two wrongs don't make a right. I'm loyal to my family, what's your excuse?"
Calypsa shrugged. "I'm just an idiot fighting for love," tossing her photos that left Lorena shunned, "like you. Difference is, I'm not afraid to take risks. You think you can bring justice to this cruel world?"
"We'll see about that," taking photos of it. "Calypsa, who are you really? There's no records of your family or anyone else with the last name Castor. What are you after?"
"I told you already, I'm an idiot fighting for love. No matter who I have to hurt."
"Lorena, let's see if they have a post credits," stomping dead in his tracks at the sight of her and Calypsa staring each other down, now focused on him, "...scene. Hey."
Calypsa's gaze locked on him. She smiled.
"You survived."
Sehki words couldn't escape his mouth properly, with only one response. Why?
Unsure of her intentions, Lorena approached him.
"Keep an eye on her, and roll with it," she whispered. Lorena's hands covered his cheeks, leaning down for a pleasurable taste of his lips. Stunned, he tried seeing Calypsa's reaction, which mirrored his as she stopped.
"See, she was just using you for the throne after all. Don't let yourself fall for someone that's just toying with your emotions," taking his hand. "Let's go back."
As he was guided back into the theater, Sehki turned back, noticing Calypsa's hand jitter as she lowered her hat, hiding her face, placing her finger in front of her mouth, and walked away.
Not the response of someone apathetic. To surpass the remaining heirs and gain the world's respect was the only way to make her reveal her goals.
Lorena confronted him about it back inside while Bodin and Candy spotted them in the blooper and credits roll.
"That's the other reason you want to beat them, isn't it."
"Not the only one. Shallow, I know."
"No. Even if you leave this world, I won't stop till any injustice, by her, the heirs, or Astrovoids ends. Get your cathartic compensation."
He nodded, though he had to admit it was a bit intense. "Wait, we used my first kiss to make her jealous?"
"That was your first kiss?" He nodded, asking if it was her first. "Well, willingly."
"It was a bit sudden."
"Umm...You want a do over?"
They saw the awkward smiles on each other's faces.
He nodded. "If you're okay with it."
They counted down from three, leaning into each other's orbit and slid into each other lips, holding onto each other's face as they closed their eyes and opening deeper for another one before pulling back.
"How did that feel?"
"Much better."
"Easier when I look like your old crush?"
"You two are way different, but you'd make good friends."
"Bring her here one day if you can, I'd love to meet her."
Candy interrupted them to show them the post credits scene: Gako and Blazer had adopted the kid, when a person with Taylor's face showed up.
"Disaster Nightmare had twelve other children he programmed with the zodiac. When their powers awaken, we'll need your son's abilities to stop them."
"His acting's...kinda wooden," Lorena blurted out. "That's the line you wrote?"
"Well Starz had an idea for a sequel hook, Taylor wants to be an actor, and his parents want good Coastrosity representation. So I killed three Aqulias with one stone."
"He should stick to his day job."
"He's bad at that too," earning laughter from them all when the movie ended.
"That was pretty fun," Bodin admitted as Sehki began putting back on his costume.
"Next time, we'll go out after I teach the last two a lesson."
The four of them exited the theater in better spirits, overhearing Xia and Calypsa.
"I thought they said they weren't gonna come."
"They need the content for their podcast. I didn't expect they'd put him in the movie."
"Maybe our parents made them do it to save face. Should they really be trashing it?"
"Your dads stopped funding it."
"But Gako's so cool. I get Fenghuang's strict, but I want my people to be proud of how they live."
"Change things up when you become queen."
"Lord and Empress."
"Yes your highness," being joined by Vena and Vital. "Too bad you have to waste time looking for Sehki's corpse."
Before he could ask questions, a wave of earth pulled them over to the other side of the street.
"Ainsley? Bethany! Y'all saw it too? Where have you been?"
"Leading fake trails. Our parents want your blood to take on those stronger Voids. But they won't let us know where your parent's corpse is."
"They're trying to siphon my power for their own?"
"And we're going to find out which kingdom has it."
"Bethany, you're going back to work tomorrow," pinching her.
"But darling," sighing. "You'll need someone to go with you."
Lorena raised her hand. "I'll go. If we find the actors Taylor targeted," pulling out the photo and typing some of its info down, "it'll probably lead us to Cluster or something else."
"Alright, Candy, you and I are going to Shugoda."
"I-I don't want to go just yet."
"Huh?"
"Well it's been so long, and he doesn't have a place to stay: I was thinking we could have him stay in House Erebus and welcome him back."
"Okay, sure. You head back and make sure nothing weird happens during the weekend, I'll get him back for you."
"What should I do," Bodin asked.
"Check on all of the professors, especially Tychonis and Delta. If any student is attacked by a Void, I want my Paladin to have a knight by her side."
"Got it."
"Everyone, move out tomorrow. Rigal, here I come."
