The atmosphere between the stature of the four's presence left the heirs barring Ainsley perturbed waiting for their parents.

"Transforming humans into Voids, staring at the Queen, abusing nature to create an abomination!"

"Our intention for one and a half centuries has always been to cure our world from their influence! This occurred on your soil? What was your son doing to be inflicted with such malice? Your doctors have stated this goes far beyond a Constain!"

"Protecting our people's honor and pride! He was there to ensure our people maintain their social respect."

"And yet he destroyed a co-production the four of our kingdoms supported. Shall I have the Ursa Squadron to police more sanctions?"

"I don't need Shugoda's services. My people were able to handle it."

"Alongside an officer from Cusp, a lead from Saiban. Why would civilians need to intervene to combat an heir when they know the law?"

"But they have permission to combat the Voids!"

"It seems that means your forces pale in comparison."

"Either way, the Voids are growing in power, yet someone in that group had the capacity to target them," his finger ignited. "I suggest your forces investigate the source."

"Investigate? If we hadn't forced the Shakuheld's execution, their research would've allowed us to ignore this years ago!"

The Queen's words struck a nerve within the other seven bodies around.

"Mom," Ainsley asked, breaking the silence. "I understand your frustration, but if you don't mind me asking, had the Shakuhelds been harvesting Voids, wouldn't they have been able to stop them as well? They wanted to betray Terra but didn't have a leash?"

"My dau," watching them glare, "child. I hate to admit it, but it's possible our former friends at least recorded their findings. But Umbra is either riddled with Voids or destroyed."

"Then why not investigate their corpse? Surely they would've used the Voids power to enhance themselves if the same could be done to Taylor."

"That's impossible." Rigal and Xia's fathers claimed at the same time. The latter allowed the former to continue. "We never had a formal burial, none of us know their whereabouts."

"I apologize," Ainsley bowed, while their brain thought differently.

Taylor spun his head. "Why don't we use spirit magic or sumethin' to revive Sehki and use him?"

"The rest of you, retrieve his corpse then and see if his DNA can assist us," his father demanded.

"So was killing him a mistake?"

Xia's father cracked his knuckles. "You need to focus on recovering. Just like those actors, do not forget you're replaceable," ending the transmission.

The next morning, Sehki woke up: using the bathroom, journaling the recent events, and watched Lorena and Candy, still asleep.. As annoying as their persistence of his love life was, it was nice to have friends that cared.

Taking Lorena's advice, he started drafting ideas on shadow abilities, adding water to the mix. From making a whip, absorbing moisture from grass, to shaping a wave that he tried to ride and flew into a tree, he smiled, thinking it could work.

They eventually woke up when he returned with breakfast from Nabu. Showing them her ideas, Lorena began conjuring magic from her mouth, aiming blasts throughout the rest of her body that were weak.

"Looks like we both need more training. Adorable one, before the company arrives, assist me in improving the shape of my attacks."

It ended with Candy making targets for both of them, who ended up leaving the dirt around Umbra a jumbled mess she helped rake as the company arrived.

"Please don't send out that review," one worker announced.

"Get the stairs and these hallways organized first," dangling the money Sehki earned in their face. "You have one week to improve here, understood?"

"Yes ma'am," gulping and getting his workers to improve faster.

Throughout the week, Erebus' stairs were done, and each day, most of the window started to improve, they could access the second shower, and the stairwell was fixed. Clearing what was on the other side wasn't in their pay grade, but Lorena was satisfied for now.

"And I can rest well. Taylor's coming back to campus though."

"Should I intervene?"

"I can handle it."

That Friday, Lorena approached Taylor, tired, unfit, and out of breath, with Kayla and Delphine holding him up.

"I was going to tell you that I hope you find another member of your Inner Circle, but are you alright?"

"Hunting for som-none of your concern. Why are you hanging out in the dorm of traitors?"

"Several reasons. I'm making a long term investment with a clientele , I'll have the closest experience to being an older sister and I can't pretend our aspirations match anymore."

"Were you just lying to us to get close to us," Delphine asked.

"You're no better than all those men using Andollarmas," Kayla yelled.

Lorena sighed. "Is that what you all think of me? A shame, in the past five years, you were the closest thing I had to friends and family. Before I part ways, I'd wanted to thank you all for entertaining my existence, even if I found you insufferable at times," bowing.

Her former leader's fist was wrapped in water. Just as Lorena was about to prepare for Taylor's wrath, a burst of ice froze his hand. She smiled.

"Looks like they couldn't keep away," focusing back to him. "But my client requested me to demand financial compensation to keep silent about your physical affairs and surrender to Void influence with social compensation through the film."

"Is this blackmail?"

"They found a compromise to benefit your acting career, but in their words, if someone happens to me, I make sure every victim comes forward. Permanently back off and cease association with Professor Tychonis. Do you comply?"

He swung a blade of water, blocked by woolen balls gluing his attacks shut.

"Professor Delta?"

"End whatever this is."

Lorena whispered to Taylor the amount, who regrettably handed it over to her.

"I'll let the whole kingdom know about your treachery."

"And I'll find justice for its victims," walking away with the shadow.
