Sehki's shadow clawed his body up through the mountain, opposite of Cygnus Crescent. All it could was track down the nearest location that his psyche considered safe.

Not the campus, not Erebus, Umbra was too far, not Earth.

You have no one.

Who will reach out to help you?

Everyone you love and cares about you is dead.

The rain's ability to cool his steaming face could not deter his mind. Gerald's outrage, Delta's words, Calypsa's betrayal, Candy's silence, Tidal's rare sympathy, Tyson's disappearance, all that was left was only one piece.

Falling to the floor, the dark avatar dragged him through the streets of Cusp Central, covering his legs for what seemed like eternity until they arrived at his destination.

Sehki stumbled into Benjin's Bistro, coughing and clutching his body.

Elaine dropped serving a customer to pick him up, telling Asa to contact Madam. The owner immediately burst out of the scene, asking what happened.

"Ur~sa!"

All of them, including Sehki's shadow, noticed the gray skinned and drab clothed humanoid pulled out a veil, wrapping it in Asa's body and pulling her towards her, summoning a lance.

In a panic, Benjin conjured a sword made of the steam and heat flowing from her body to reach her co-worker.

A figure was impaled.

The shadow hands stopped the lance back, inches from Asa's face. Benjin slashed the veil off, kicking the freak away as Elaine pulled Asa to safety, calling the militia for assistance.

As Madam and the closed eyed attacker clashed swords with his staff, Sehki's eyes shut.

When he woke up, Shonda, Gerald, Flint, Val were all staring at him, alongside two others he recalled.

"Mom, dad? Well, Terra mom and dad?"

Around him were stars lining up halfway through. He tried running over to reach them, but titan sized versions of Calypsa, Xia, Rigal, Taylor, and Ainsley blew him away, sending him falling into a void alongside the earth he was standing in. He screamed, waking up to reality.

What was that, could not escape his mouth, frozen in fear and waking up to a blanket and bed. His hand shuddered, finding bandages around his limbs and parts of his face in a nearby mirror.

Where am I?

His bone ached and cracked with every moment, shaking death death ridden and flinching as the door burst open.

"Relax Prince Sehki, you're in safe hands."

Madam, coughing in vain attempts to say her name, mouthing thank you.

Not wanting to be cheeky, she handed him warm chocolate, creating a sigil. The cold dread around his body began burning away as she told him about using it to spread her magic out.

He mustered the power to thank you, fighting the mental barriers of the violent attack.

"You've been out for almost a week. Good thing you came in when you did."

"Th-e hun-ter guy with wea," coughing.

"Oh, the Herdsman. I never expected to see that criminal out here."

He blinked.

"Asa wouldn't have survived if you hadn't blocked that Ursa hunting menace. I thought he was Shugoda's problem."

"Some-one," coughing, "brought him to the crescent," taking a sip, "when Void came 'fter the heirs attacked me."

"The heirs did what?"

His voice still hurt, leading him to take out his phone. It took him a while, but he typed up everything that happened.

She returned it, trying to wrap her brain around it.

"I knew those Puppis pieces of excrement were sick enough, but Calypsa? Let me talk to her," about to make a call when Sehki shook his head.

Leave her. She's always been on their side, leading me into a false sense of security, slumping back onto the pillow after pressing the text-to-speech button for her .

And I fell for it.

Benjin sat down next to him. "That look in your eyes. You were catching feelings?"

His eyes lowered as she touched his heartbeat, warming it up.

"A broken heart, body, and mind all need time to heal," smiling. "I've been there too."

His face screamed really? She promised to tell him about it another time, asking him to guess who to take his mind off things.

Still, the Herdsmen?

"Those StellArts users have one of the most dangerous non-Zodiac arsenals in their kit. They've got a nasty lust for targeting Ursa Majors and Minors. Usually those end up as military trainees to recruit those guys, but with this guy on the loose, most of them have to go for their safety."

That's evil, sighing. This world is screwed, trying to bawl up a fist. I want to do something about it before I leave.

"I've been wondering, where did you go?"

Can I trust you?

She crossed her hands "No one else other than the staff knows you're here!" Her yell unnerved him until she smiled. "Up to you."

She took a few seconds to hear his typed up summary.

"You lived a whole different life, a whole other world," trying to not open her jaw.

I can't decide which one's worse, earning a chuckle out of her.

"Either way, the prince of darkness who survived two worlds would make one headline."

Is it wishful thinking my brother might still be alive?

"With no magic, he might be in a coma, but if he's dead, you'd probably need forbidden spiritual magic to resurrect his heart. Problem is you'd have to require someone's lifespan."

I'll use mine.

"Hey, I know you care about him but-"

He's the only living family I had left. My life there was mostly to raise him. I don't know if that's the only reason I was adapted. But, that doesn't mean I didn't love him.

He's the only living family I had left. My life there was mostly to raise him. Maybe that's the only reason I was adapted. Hell, Shonda may have just used me as a babysitter. But, that doesn't mean I didn't love him.

"You'll still need a lot of Starlight."

So I'll have to go back to Celestial.

"Not in that condition!"

When I heal.

He rolled himself out of the bed, bowing to Madam.

"Please, train me!"
