Chapter 66: Victory Through Disaster

Once the InVoid jumped from settlement after fabricated property, Sehki drove the motorcycle to fly above him, forming the makeshift cannon for her to fire her mud shot. It covered Taylor's hand, forcing him to turn the other into a claw.

The Cusp soldier's attack mass was decreasing in size, using its head to shield the two while the battleship flew above them. Taylor's legs and arm morphed into giant tentacles, wrapping the Coastrosity soldier's construct with hers, pulling them close.

Lorena gasped as the ship began to fall towards them. "He's going to make them collide!"

Sehki noticed it's shadow covering the whale's back. "That's it!" He connection his to the giant shadow, while his muscles ached trying to lift it up.

She coiled her hands around him. "One, two, three."

"Pull!" It flew up as a giant crescent, the two used and crash into the InVoid's body, decimating the sphere of water around himself. The militia member used her fins to save the two while the Argo trio barely pulled their ship back to hover, giving Lorena and Sehki the time to land a handful of shots at InVoid Taylor's body.

The Void energy in his body started to slip, but he summoned another geyser from the rain, blocking the two when they got close and losing his arm.

"Damnit!"

"We'll have to win through attrition," sipping the rain water and jumping back on the officer's back.

"Smart plan kids, but you'll need a more dangerous fluid."

"Hey, don't whales spray ink? Can't that work?"

"We'll only have one shot and it can backfire on us!"

"We have to take the risk!"

"We don't have a choice! Let's do it!"

Far away, the crew watched on with concern.

"They're still struggling? There has to be something we could do!"

"Two military groups and a prince can't stop them, what can we do?"

Yessenia questioned why she let Lorena go, and her own past actions.

"We're responsible for a hit tv series and a movie, and we can't come up with anything," not noticing the smile coming out her hands, "while two new adults can?"

"I want to help them out too but," Gako before seeing the slime. He looked at the video cameras left behind recording Sehki and Lorena's action, seeing the mud. "They're trying to slow his body down. Yessenia, we could use your powers to do it!"

"That's not enough. Why don't do we use the goop for the giant monster instead?"

"We stored it back in the lab set," the cinematographer replied. "It's not like we can just use Disaster Nightmare's suit to fight a humanoid monster."

"Wait, we can! Marcel, you're a genius! Gako, Yessenia, take me back to the set. We're amazing some reshoots!"

Agreeing to stall for time, the Argo Navis trio used the brunt for Taylor's fists to break apart. The one with the Carina on their uniform struck with the energy of the ship's skeleton, the Puppis user pincered from behinds with the ship's rear, opening the Vela to sail through the sky from the flying fish and weave Taylor's control of the water back.

"Now!"

Sehki and Lorena let the Cetus officer fire the ink from his blowhole, completely covering him in the black liquid. The InVoid's attempts to summon the water only mixed into the ink.

"It worked!"

"Move!" The officer pushed them away as Taylor's arms morphed into tentacles with the harder material, smacking away the officer and the trio through a window as he jumped down the wall to close the gap.

Sehki froze up, outplayed until Lorena's hands spread to an open latch and barely swung them away in time. 

As he jumped up, she yelled at him to weave the shadows of the falling water reflecting on the walls towards them. 

With no other options, he swung his hands forwards, bridging a wavy shield of darkness blocking them from harm.

It absorbed the water, whacking Taylor across the face with his commands while Lorena swung them away.

The heir-turned-Void mutated his hand into a piranha shape, immediately reaching them and firing a jaw of water energy about to devour them.

A toucan's beak slammed down on his body while the body of a blonde pulled them back, delivering a sonic scream that pushed the InVoid away.

Sehki looked up at his saviors. "Aren't you?"

"Delphine, Kayla, you came!"

"Is that our bae?"

"They turned him into a Void?"

"My magic can free him but I need everyone's help to beat the energy out of him."

"Hurry up," Delphine yelled, only for him to tell her not to boss him around, only for Lorena to tell them all to focus as Taylor's hands formed a crab claw that could eat them whole.

The shadow of a giant monster kicked him airborne while feathers carried them up to their savior.

"Eat Disaster Nightmare you hostile heir," the voice inside demanded, firing goop at all sides, Taylor barely avoided, having to rip it off his legs and use parkour away.

"Starz? Gako?"

"In the flesh! Well suit! The whole crew's all here!"

They got in, watching almost everyone in the production staff spearheading the devices responsible for the movement, with the officers in custody.

When Taylor dived in from the sky, the machine swung forward, enough to crack apart more of the set as ripples through the machine were created.

"All this and he still won't slow down?"

"The ink hardened the strength of his attacks, Lorena theorized. "We need a way to hold him in place, stop his movements, and hit hard enough for the Demon Prince's magic to destroy the Voids."

"Then we'll use Disaster to hold him off! The rest of us need to wear him down."

"So who's going to be the distraction?"

Sehki's brain scrambled around. We have all the tools they needed, they just had to set it off. Wait, set it off, tokusatsu. That's it!"

"I got it! Do you have any pyrotechnics and metal railings you used for the effects and construction left?"

"They're in the storage space back at the lab set!"

"Perfect! This fight will end with our victory!"
