The giant snake left Ainsley taking a step back.

"You intolerant heirs are just childish adults with no means to control the power you possess!" Her snake slammed its body head first onto them, crushing the chimera limb in pieces. "Allow me to remind you why your parents chose me!"

Ainsley feared the power able to ripple a tear through the room and wall, shielding Sehki and Candy's bodies in a dome, draining their pool to make a chimera's wings to cover their bodies while hopping, ducking, and rolling from the shapeshifting snake.

"My snakes hunt down large sources of fae magic and devour them off people! Only a few StellArts users can take advantage of that resource, you short-sighted abomination!"

Ainsley winced, searching for a solution that didn't rely on brute force with nothing but a hair's chance to strategize, forcing skates around their legs to pivot away with agility.

That's when they noticed the snakes around Sehki's body and their shadow biting off the chunks of their petrification.

If they feed off large sources, then that's how we'll sketch our way out to victory!

They fired a large dust cloud covering Sehki and Candy's body, gripping one of their hands and jumping in their own smoke, pulling Gorgon by the head and dragging her away from the classroom.

The giant snake dissolved back into her normal hair for her to silence them with the same swarm to turn them into solid rock, but they formed the claw to hold her hair in place until they threw the teacher into another room.

Inside was the digital supply room, a graffiti laid wall forest of painted color trees and bark, large scissor blades, a crayon they could move with their own magic, a lake of rainbow watercolor and hills of paper mache.

"Here you are, with the power to become a masterpiece, running away as a worthless tool."

Ainsley stared around the room for a bit, shaking their head. "A tool is just as good as it's wielder, you hack art professor!"

"I'll hack you to pieces, you defiant thing," sprawling more snakes at them. Ainsley spun up the paper mache with magic to turn them into earth wings, slicing through them.

When the animals reformed into a larger serpent, they spun the paper mache into the pool, forming legs and a torso to make a clay shaped creature missing a head, holding them back.

Sucking her teeth, she kicked up more snakes out of her hair, which grabbed the scissor blades to cut off Ainsley's creation to pieces, regaining it's brethren to become one third the size of its first debut.

However, Ainsley began force feeding the snakes their own clay creation, forcing it back while controlling it long enough that she couldn't just easily recall it.

"Let go!"

"Not yet," coughing up blood but fighting through the throat bursts to stalemate.

She headed over to the five foot crayons and tossed them with her hand shapeshifting snakes, forcing them to lunge from and pull a construct out to block, on their knees.

"What are you waiting for?"

"Me!"

A shadow enhanced kick pelted her face and body into a paper mache hill in the front while Ainsley smashed the snake apart.

"What took you so long?"

"Hey, getting turned into stone isn't easy, Sehki yelled, thanking the snake who they recognized had the same color as Candy's magic. "Huh, nostalgic."

Ainsley ran over to them. "You had an affinity for snakes?"

"Never really scared me much as a child. Not everything that looks evil, seems evil, ya know? What was with the dust cloud?"

"Made with my magic to help remove the effects. You either have an attraction or resistance to their effects, so the magic eating snakes would eat off their own power trying to take our combined amount."

"Huh, you heirs have a bit of a brain after all."

Two chubby snakes pulled them up by their feet and threw them out of the room, holding them for Gorgon to approach them.

"I'm done playing around with you two!"

A galloping shadow caught the heirs' eye.

Bethany ramming and slamming Professor Gorgon in her centaur form was not on either of their predictions.

"Prince Ainsley, Sehki, climb on, hurry!"

They jumped on her back, but Sehki lifted up Candy with his shadows when the nurse galloped through the hallway while Gorgon's giant Sepens beast stalked them at full speed.

"Did we need to bring her now?"

"Ainsley, just tell me how to de-petrify her, trust me!"

He assisted them in pouring their magic to remove the effects, freeing the young adult.

"Princes? Is that a giant snake?!"

"Long story short, Prof's eliminated students to turn their bodies into Ainsley's new body, nurse centaur is here for reasons she's definitely explaining later, and we need to save the other eighty-five students."

"We can't fight a professor!"

"Not alone! But if we combine magic, we've got a chance!"

Gorgon spat a large ray of venom blasting the ceiling straight out of the corridor, forcing Bethany to narrowly drift towards a dead end with only a window in front of them.

"Hold on," covering her face, pushing her legs off the walls to fly at and crash through the window to get the four of them outside in the open field connecting the art center to House Gaia. Bleeding from below, she stumbled back into human form. Candy tended to her legs while Gorgon confronted the quartet.

"Maybe if I reduce these students into dust, you'll take responsibility for their deaths, Lord Ainsley!"

Before she could attack the petrified students, Sehki channeled his shadow into the earth to reach hers, halting her feet in place.

"Candy, Bethany, Ainsley, de-petrify the students, I'll hold her off!"

"Tch." Professor Gorgon initially scowled, then smiled. "So you don't need that bimbo witch to fight your battles?"

He took a deep breath. Remember Madam's words: don't lose concentration and focus. Don't fall for the bait. "Worried your job's becoming obsolete?"

"Is that so," forming a smaller unit of prehensile snakes. "Educate me: how will you hold me and stop them," as they flew towards him.
