Lorena pointed to the cracks in walls that were sealed up, the small amount of security staff, and the constant number of workers who greeted them passing by their shoulder every chance they got.
Almost like they were prepared for something to happen.
"Anyway, I'd like you all to meet the crew, starting with the," spotting the hesitation in her eyes. "Is there something wrong?"
Lorena put her poker face on. "Nothing at all. My peer and I are elated to meet everyone," nudging Sehki.
Sehki couldn't hold in his thoughts. "No, but why don't you look so happy?"
She seems surprised, but relented. "It's been a long journey. Everyone from the directors to the crew, to the writers and stage team have all been pushing ourselves to the wire. Despite some setbacks, we managed to make it through. Let's just hope the box office respects our efforts."
Starz asked the cinematographer director to lead them throughout the set while she had to make some phone calls, promising to meet them later.
Hungry, he picked up what looked like food, only to get yelled at for almost eating a prop. Lorena sighed when the camera operators pointed out he could've just told them about the craft services, who rightfully offered to serve the early college students.
"We mix the props with real food. Almost fooled ourselves once," the food stylist admitted while the cinematographer took pictures of them eating.
They would end up being led through different sets. The set construction coordinator and decorator buildings showcased the skills and physicality of the destruction, complete with the sound test leading them to hurl a large boulder at them.
Sehki tackled Lorena to save them both which exploded in red paint much to his shock and her annoyance. The crew laughed as they got another picture.
"Just remember winning this means you're under an NDA."
"Understood."
The tour continued with them meeting the storyboard artist showing them the intended plans, the electrician and sound testers displaying them acting out the scripts.
The makeup and hair department decided to place their hands on them. Sehki denied needing to take the bandages off while one noticed Lorena's red hair.
"Have we met before?"
"Not necessarily," unintentionally smacking her with her ponytail. "Sorry."
"Hey, that cosplay isn't going to mean much, the actors will be here any minute!"
"It's all okay, I insist, this is like a homage to them anyway."
Stars returned to see how he and Lorena were, blindsiding him long enough for him to take off the bandages wrapped around his arms and face.
"Huh?"
"Pr-Pri-Prince Sehki?!"
"Oh here we go." Lorena coated her arms in rock, picked up and threw Sehki's whole body in the air, then stretched her head hard and fast enough to keep him airborne before everyone surrounded them.
"You're alive?"
Lorena's eyebrow raise made him suck his teeth amongst the commotion.
"Fine! But everyone's signing a NDA first and calming down so I can explain everything!"
Lorena held Sehki airborne while her hands began typing up a NDA she printed wirelessly, when shadows began diving down from the sky, bursting the air as they descended from below.
The Demon Prince got blown off Lorena's head, about to use his shadow when the herald dropped the people off his feathers, and fired them to hold and parachute his body. He caught them in his hands.
"The swan constellation? Cygnus?"
"Sorry I'm late, my old community wanted autographs before the you're not welcome crowd showed up," scratching his natural hair with bangs after taking off the helmet with black eyes and lion mane for spiky hair. "You're our raffle winner," listening to the crew, "and Prince Sehki?"
Jumping down, he marveled at the young actor. "You're the actor for Victory Rider?"
"Correct! Victory Rider," flexing his muscles as his feathers glowed golden-red, "Blazer!"
"He's been staying in character for almost thirty six episodes at this point," a young woman with half red-blue hair with similar features to Lorena next to him claimed. She turned her head upon seeing the aforementioned college student. "You're?"
Lorena retracted her head, stepping behind Sehki. "Wait, thirty-six episodes? Don't most seasons go from forty-five to forty-eight? Were there behind the scenes issues?"
"That's the reason why we're making the movie our finale. It's not as long drawn out as everyone wants it to be, but we're hoping to give it the closure it deserves."
"And we lost half of our funding from Sabian and Coastrosity, oh the irony."
Sehki raised a finger, searching up the details of the movie. "Victory Rider Blazer encounters their ultimate rival, Victory Rider Aqua. How will the clash of Fire and Water conclude: will heroism die or advent?"
He put down the phone. "Yeah, that sounds like they're going to clash and team up. Why would the kingdom of Fire and Water oppose that?"
Then it hit him. "They want it to end with one or the other triumphant over the other. You all fought for your end, and they cut the budget, didn't they?"
All of them looked at him with shock.
"How, how did you know?"
"The only thing bigger their child's ego is probably their parents. My....a kid I knew got me to learn a lot of cool shows got canned for shitty reasons. I hope all of your efforts work out."
The Victory Rider Blazer actor hugged his neck via elbow. "You know what, let's make this the best behind the scenes tour ever!"
"Don't let Gako Fukushi overwhelm you," his co-star claimed. "He's so passionate he can burn the world."
"And don't let Yessenia Encashz drown you into misery," yawning. "She's so cold, Ursa Majors use her for hibernation," smiling back. "So we heard you died, what was that about?"
"Let me speak to my client," Lorena jumped in, stealing Sehki to talk privately in the elevator, pressing it to go down. "You don't have a choice, all the details now."
"Oh, Calypsa and I went on a date before she pushed me off a cliff."
"Oh," taking a second to process how nonchalantly he said that. "Excuse me?"
His explanation left her more confused.
"It doesn't make any sense for her to kill you with them. Technically you could charge her for violence against royalty. If she's trying to marry into a family, why get rid of a viable option?"
"Has my reputation improved that much?"
"If the truth comes out, its possible," as the elevator rose up. Let me explain."
"But-"
"You were able to earn the trust of a heir and push a girl to fight her tormentors. I'll help you play this right. Deal?"
"Deal."
