She was sitting at the dinner table and lost in her thoughts completely unaware of her surroundings. Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of giggling from upstairs.

She instantly zoned in and scanned her surroundings, which caused her to panic. Chairs, tabletop dishes, living room sofas, table lamps, utensils, cutlery, and other items were all floating in the air.

The stove in the kitchen was turning on and off by itself, and the lights were flickering like crazy. She examined her wrist and discovered that her bracelet was missing, which increased her concern about the situation.

She sipped water from a glass floating in the air and tried to relax.

She folded her hands in her lap and closed her eyes to try to calm herself down. She was focussing on her powers which were flowing as a fool here and there. When she opened her eyes again everything fell back to its original place.

She took a deep breath and sighed with relief. "That was pretty close...uff," she muttered to herself.

The father and daughter were currently climbing down the stairs. They quickly settled into their seats. Megan sat beside Olivia, and Johnathan sat opposite her.

She scanned the table, which was filled with all of her favourite dishes.

This man didn't forget a single thing...How could anyone resist falling in love with him?

Why didn't the Moon Goddess mate me with someone like him?

Why does it have to be a brute, like Marcus? Why?

"Lia! Lia! Olivia," a voice called her as someone jerked her hand softly; she looked up to see Johnathan, who had a confused expression on his face.

"Hmmm, what happened?" she asked softly and tried to appear innocent as if she knew nothing. While he was taken aback by her cuteness, he tilted his head to the left and gave her a lovely smile to ease her awkwardness.

"To earth, Lia, you just zone out; Megan has asked for your attention for a while," he said softly, shaking his head helplessly in recognition and tittering as he joined his hands together. She examined Megan, who was in the same position as Johnathan.

"Let us start praying, mama!" Megan invited her innocently, using her baby voice. She silently followed their actions and began the prayer ritual.

After prayer, they started eating their dinner. Olivia could not help but moan in delight with each bite of the delicious dinner. Megan was busy devouring her food. Meanwhile, Jonathan gave her a knowing smirk.

"Focus on your food!" she told him in an uninterested and cold tone; she tried to hide her shyness, but she knew the man well.

"How? When you behave like this," he asked. His smirk grew into a full-fledged grin, and devilishness shone through his eyes.
