As a precaution they kept Luke in the psyche hospital for 72 hours.they just wanted to make sure that he was screened throughly and good to go.

Luke agreed to weekly therapy and forfeited his guns and gun license, promising he'd never put himself or others in danger again.

Luke got back into every day life right away, going back to work with Elliot trying to make everything go back to normal.

Sabrina, Elsie and Eloise did the same.

On Luke first day back about an hour into the shift, a call came through, all it said was twelve year old girl with a 104 degree fever and off they went.

As Luke sped to this call, Elsie was in school  a boy in the grade above her slapped the books out of her arms and shoved her into a locker back first by her shoulder "what the hell!" She grunted as her back slammed against the medal as the boy and his friends laughed and snickered. This wasn't the first time this happened nor was the last. Other situations like this already happened and it didn't seem like it was ever going to end.

Elsie embarrassingly crouched down to pick up her things, her face feeling flushed as people stared. She scrambled and got to class before the bell rang.

As Elsie took a seat in her very boring geometry class, Luke and Elliot were at their destination parked in front of the grayish blue two story house, grabbing a couple of bags from the back of the rig. A middle aged looking woman was holding the front door open calling for the medics telling them to "please hurry" waving them inside.

Luke gave Elliot the look and went up the walkway and the steps and into the front door. They followed the woman to the far end of the house to a bed room at the end of the hall. The door was white with hand painted flowers and upon opening the door the walls were bright pink and a girl laid lethargically in her bad.

"When was the last time you took her temperature? How long has she had it? Have you tried fever reducing medications?" Elliot automatically through out all these questions as Luke approached the young patient.

While Luke was ready to start assessing this girl, Elsie was in her math class trying to concentrate. Unfortunately her friend Jamie was absent so she was alone having to deal with the boredom and idiots on her own.

the elderly teacher spoke in a monotone voice as she scribbled out problems on the white board, Elsie trying to make out what the teacher said as she wrote down notes. she hated this class with a passion and just couldn't wait for it to be over.

in the midst of elsies note taking, someone tapped her shoulder handing her a paper that was crumbled up into a ball, she put her pen down on the desk and opened up what was given to her.

she didn't look behind but those people were already holding back their laughs. the note said "your dad's a killer and your his ugliest kid"

Elsie gulped, feeling taken back. Ever since Skylar died, and ever since people found out her dad responded to the call they just haven't left Elsie alone. It was bad enough some people found humor in her health problems prior to that.

Elsie got mad throwing the paper on the floor and the people behind her continued to laugh until the bell rang.

While Elsie was preparing to go to her history class Luke was beginning to get a set of vitals from his young patient which he learned was twelve and her name was Amelia.

"Amelia's fever started a few hours ago and I wasn't sure what to do since she's on so many medications." The mother explained Elliot writing out quickly notes. Luke put the pulse ox on Amelia's finger and the blood pressure cuff on her opposite arm while taking her temperature with an infrared thermometer.
