Elliot just dropped off a patient in the ER and transferred over patient care before heading upstairs.

He took the elevator and passed a few empty rooms till he found a closed door, stopping knocking on it with the back of his finger "dad?" He questioned, waiting for a response. "Yeah come in" a voice said, and Elliot opened the door seeing his mother sitting in a chair next to his father who was hooked up to an IV. It looked like he was halfway through this current treatment.

"It's actually good that the both of you are here"

"What's up Elliot?" Sabrina questioned motioning for him to shut the door and to sit down somewhere.

Elliot closed the door gently and sat down scooting to the end of the seat his hands in his lap, sighing a bit.

"Okay so I have been trying to figure out how to explain this so forgive me for any screw ups"

"What is Elliot?" Luke started to get serious adjusting himself in the padded chair.

"Okay so I made a mistake"

"Mistake?"

"I know for several years the both of you have drummed it in my head to be responsible and careful and know matter how responsible and careful I was it backfired"

Sabrina and Luke looked at each other trying to figure out what was going on before looking back at their son. "Whatever happened Elliot we'll support you" Luke blurted out wanting to be supportive.

"I accidentally got someone pregnant"

Sabrina's eyes went wide, "did you say you got someone pregnant?"

"Yeah, I'm so sorry for fucking up Mom"

"Are you sure it's your Elliot?" Luke questioned kind of in disbelief over the news.

"Yeah, she said I'm the only one she's had sex with in the past few months"

A silence fell over the room and everyone exchanged awkward looks.

"Elliot you're only twenty one years old you know how big of a responsibility a baby is?"

"Dad, i know. I realize that my actions have consequences and I'm ready to take up the responsibility and be a father to this child in a few months"

"How are you going to balance work and taking care of a newborn"

"I'll figure it out"

"Where are you going to live?"

"Maybe her place, I don't know"

There was a few more seconds of silence.

"I have a stable job and income, I think everything will be okay"

"What are you going to tell your sisters?"

"I guess I'll have to tell them that they're going to become aunts and that you two are becoming grandparents"

"Elliot, you're mother and I have been dealing with a lot recently you have to promise us that you will be able to handle this baby stuff, because it's not going to be our place to raise another baby"

"I know dad"

"Your mother and I have to start getting things in order just in case"

The room started to feel more intense than ever.

"What? Just in case of what? What's wrong?"

"Elliot.." Luke sighed, looking at Sabrina, who rubbed the top of his hand, then he looked back at Elliot.
