"Medic one and medic two can you hear me?"
"Yes dispatch we can hear you loud and clear!" Luke spoke into the radio attached to his uniform, him and Elliot were were getting back into the rig after taking a break at Dunkin Donuts.
"Veronica what do you have for us?"
"I need you and medic two to head out to 145 Luna Street. I got a call from a young lady saying you need to do a wellness check on the resident there. They haven't heard from their friend in twenty four hours."
"Copy that Veronica, on the way as we speak!"
Luke hopped in the drivers side and Elliot pulled up the directions and off they went arriving at the address before police did.
They parked out front blocking the driveway, a car was parked in the driveway and an Amazon package was on the front stoop.
Elliot got out first carrying a bag and then Luke was right behind him the address itself didn't seem familiar but the house was starting to be familiar.
They got up to the front door Elliot began knocking and ringing the door bell "EMS are you okay in there?" He spoke loudly hoping the resident heard it.
There was no response. "EMS call out or open the door please!" Elliot spoke up again while Luke was trying to peak through the door and/or the curtains.
Elliot kept knocking and ringing and speaking loudly and there was no response. Police not in sight either.
Luke eventually noticed a curtain slightly open so he started peering through looking for signs of life.
Then he noticed someone in what appeared to be in the living room on the ground. "HEY! Elliot someone's in there!" He pointed and started getting crazy knocking on the glass.
"Someone's in there?"
"Yes yes, we gotta get in there." Luke mentioned now walking back to the front door where he tried twisting the knob finding out the door was locked.
The two medics tried banging on the door creating noise trying to get attention of the patient inside. But it didn't work.
Luke had an idea though.
He made Elliot move out of the way then he backed up running toward the door shoulder first slamming himself against the door more than once eventually getting entry into the entrance. Elliot was dumbfounded for a few seconds before following his father into the house.
They walked through the entrance way and through a small narrow hallway which led to a living room and Luke immediately ran when he saw the face down patient.
"Gaby!" He yelped running to her, there was a ladder and books and other stuff every where.
"Gaby!" Luke shouted again throwing himself to the ground to assess his long time friend. He automatically noticed head trauma and dry blood. Luke's heart was racing in his chest. He signaled for Elliot to help him and they rolled her over, Gaby was out cold but she had a pulse, a strong one I might add.
Luke started assessing her immediately putting on the the stethoscope beginning to listen for any problems "hearts normal rate and rhythm. We gotta get her on the monitor." Elliot handed luke the electrodes and lifted up her shirt beginning to place them on her skin.
"Gaby what happened to you?" Luke whispered, just wanting answers and wanting to know what happened.
Elliot then started plugging up the head wound as best as he could seeing if there was any other injuries to her neck or face.
After Luke got the cardiac monitor on confirming the strong vitals, he started trying for an IV and he kept blowing the veins in her for arm and hands.
