Tears filled my eyes.

"Smith! Smith!!?"

I nudged his chest, my hands trembling.

"Smith! Wake up!"

Getting desperate, I checked his pulse. He still had a faint pulse.

I got him up, dragging him out of the forest. Donnor caught up with us on the way out, glancing from Smith to me.

"What's happening? I heard screams?"

I shot back, "What's happening? Can't you see? I found him lying on the ground deep inside the forest. He is barely breathing. Call the ambulance."

"Okay...okay...calm down."

We soon made it out of the forest, rushing back inside the glamorous penthouse.

We took him on the sofa. I went inside what should be the biggest kitchen I had ever seen, grabbing a glass of water.

I went back, sprinkling some water on his face. Donnor looked for a telephone.

"Wait! I have my mobile.."

I got the mobile from my jeans and dialed the ambulance. It didn't connect due to network issues.

Of course...we are in the middle of nowhere...

"I don't understand...in the note, it said that he has trackers and he is watching...we saw him get on the helicopter...how did this happen!?"

Donnor looked up at me.

"Wait, what note?"

"Oh...I found a note at the table outside that I have to invite you to the penthouse otherwise he will extend the staying days..."

Donnor didn't say anything, but I could tell deep down he was disgusted with this whole parade.

I checked Smith's pocket, hoping I would get some clue about the map of the penthouse or anything about the location...

A note slipped out on my hands, slanted and scribbled handwriting.

Do it or you will die.

- Jasper

"What!?" I blurted, reading the same words over and over again.

Smith was getting threatened by Jasper to do something!?

Oh no....is Jasper behind this...? Does he know what we are up to...?

My eyes shot on Donnor, who was busy trying to wake up Smith. I marched towards him, flicking his arms away from him.

"You told Jasper, didn't you?"

Donnor's ice-cold eyes blasted on me.

"What are you talking about?"

My nerves picked up.

"You told Jasper the truth, didn't you?"

Donnor's eyes went to the note I was holding, grabbing it away from my hands. He read it with an emotionless face. His eyes shot on me after reading, the note from his hand falling.

"What made you think I told him out, by the way?"

I shouted, the anger pulsating through my veins.

"Who else could have told Jasper!? You, me, and Smith know about the exact mission we are a part of!"

He stepped forward, his eyes drilling on me.

"And what makes you think someone has told him the truth?"
