Was it the drink? Did I hear it right? Or was I imagining?

I squinted my eyes on Donnor, but he appeared all blurry.

The tap on the thigh faded, and so did the brushing of his lips in a daydream.

My eyes blinked close. I rested my head against the wall, getting hiccups,

"Damn, that stupid drink--

Some noises from outside interrupted my flow of thoughts.

"Have we checked everything, sir?"

"Yes! She is not here sir."

"Alright, escort everyone out. Take them under custody. Meet me outside."

"Yes sir!"

A shuffle of footsteps grew distant, followed by loud chatters and whispers dying down.

I turned towards the door, my heels losing my balance.

"Ow!"

I clutched on something warm, not overly hard but hard enough covered with a thin fabric.

"Hmmm...feels nice..."

I dug my face into the fabric, soaking in the warmth and firmness. My hands ran through it, the surface providing my skin with a comfy, padded cushion.

Something strong and hard buckled around my waist, making my body press against the surface.

"Mmm...this feels so comfy..."

I muttered under my breath, my eyes drifting close in a smile, falling fast asleep.

"Ugh..."

Everything appeared in distorted blur circles and boxes. I rubbed my eyes, snapping them open.

Everything flashed clear as daylight. I glanced around.

Tables, chairs, sofas, and a wardrobe. 3D blocked walls with fancy pale lights and red carpet stretched on the floor.

I was in one hell of a fancy room.

I lifted my legs, getting up with a stab of pain radiating from my forehead.

"Ow!"

I stretched my arms, tightening all the screws.

"Where am I...?"

I looked down at my crumbled outfit. I was still wearing the black cocktail dress.

I rubbed my eyes, getting out of the twin-sized bed.

The door was shut close, but there wasn't any harm in trying the door knob.

Much to my surprise, it flew open.

I walked out, my eyes landing on a long and wide space with printed walls and multiple doors. In the middle was a staircase heading downstairs.

Was I in a hotel or something?

I hurried down the stairs, fixing my dress and hair as I went. I had so many questions.

But most importantly, where was Taylor?

The view in front of me remained deserted. There was a huge space with similarly painted walls and a receptionist-styled desk with computers. My eyes scanned the rest of it. It had sofas and a closed television set up at the top.

"This has to be a hotel."

I muttered to myself, walking across the empty desks and chairs. An engraving on the front of the counter caught my attention.
