The days after that soon went smooth as heck. We spent our days with my mom and in our new house, watching television shows, going sightseeing around the city and playing video games.

I might not be good at cooking, but I had a thing for video games since childhood, more like my hidden passion.

My mom used to join for some games from time to time, rest of the time she used to spend helping Don with the cooking or either spending time with me chatting about all kinds of different things.

Don's family were supposed to visit today, and the preparation ongoing in the house was something else.

"Callie, don't worry about it. My sister doesn't care about the decorations."

He held my hands, stopping me from placing a golden flower pot which we had both brought together yesterday.

I rolled my eyes, keeping the pot anyways.

"But I care about how our house would look like, Don."

He made a face like a child asking not being given a toy he wanted. I pulled my arms around his shoulders, my head touching against his.

"I want our house to look beautiful. It's our house afterall."

His hand dropped down my waist, pulling me by the hip. My heart rate picked up, just like each and every time it does.

How does he do it every damn time?

His fingers brushed through my hair, delicately rearranging it behind my ears.
I smiled widely as his thumb traced down my lips, going down my neck in a line of fire.

"Don..." I whispered, holding his thumb in a wrap.

"You are too cute at times." I said, letting my fingers run across his chest. He laughed like one bright, happy sun.

"By the way...I wanted to say something..."

His eyebrows raised.

"Umm, what?"

My lips slanted into a big, bubbly smile as i fingered back his chest.

"I don't know how many projects you have taken in your career so far, but The Miss Hughes Project was successful."

He looked like he had seen a ghost for a split second before he quickly regained his composure, scratching his head.

"So of course you saw that script lying around...yeah that was Watt's stupid idea..."

Watt's name didn't surprise me one bit.

"I found the name cute. I am sure you kept it, suits your style."

He remained silent, flushing like a sunset as he looked down the floor.

Oh boy, he was actually blushing!!?

"Don! Callie!?" Mom came running, catching us both off guard. She covered her face, teasing us both.

I pouted.

"Mom! Stop it! What's going on?"

She joined in, pointing towards the kitchen,

"Check if the pasta I made tastes good."

Both me and Don nodded joining her in the kitchen. She then from the pan in a bowl, handing it over to me.

I took a spoonful, then gave the rest to Don, who tasted some of it.

I wasn't the best of chef in the house, so i looked over at Don for confirmation, and it wasn't a surprise that mom herself was.

"Hmm...." He remarked, holding my mom in a dramatic pause. He took another handful.
