Vamp was usually known as being the quiet weirdo who always had their headphones on. He just accepted that title the more it was given. He was usually found drawing monsters; creatures which have not been seen for centuries. He had such a fascination with them that most people just called him a monster as well. He didn't mind. He loved studying what species there had been, and one of his favorite had always been skeletons. The magic they held was just soo neat to him.

One day, while out on a walk in the woods, he noticed a red glowing light inside of an abandoned cabin. Any normal person would likely run away and never go back there, because let's face it, seeing a random glowing light in some abandoned building cannot be a good sign. Of course though, Vamp was no normal person. So it went closer to inspect where the light was coming from. Inside, he found what looked like a monster soul, but it wasn't a heart, it looked more like a target. And as if they couldn't do anymore dumb and risky things, he reached out and touched it.

Next thing it knew, he was waking back up on the floor of the cabin. There was some weird black liquid coming out of their eyes, along with the soul now floating in front of it's chest. It seemed to just be stuck there, cause when he moved, the soul moved with him. He was still bored and his curiosity was getting the best of him, so he continued to look around the cabin. Eventually he found two knives, just sitting out. One was a butcher knife, the other was just a regular 'ol kitchen knife. They were both oddly really clean and shiny, so Vamp decided it'd be nice to try and use them to see his reflection. They then realized how different their eyes now were as well.

Their eyes were now pure black with small white pupils. There was also a bit of red now on the tips of their bangs. And as they looked a bit closer, they noticed a new mark starting to form. It was starting to resemble a large crack, but their face was completely solid. The eye it covered stayed completely black, but the pupil grew a bit larger and turned red.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, they heard two voices that were most certainly not his own. The voices introduced themselves as 'Killer' and 'Horror'. The three eventually realized what had happened: an accidental merge. They all decided they should probably figure out a new name that would be better for all of them. The settled on the name 'Dagger' (mind you it took them ages to decide). The three, while being forced to basically share a body, do not get along very well and constantly bicker. Despite them not getting along, Killer and Horror decided they'd at least help Vamp understand this new body, magic, and role in life.
