Altair.

How the actual fuck did I get here? Didn't I just teleport to a whole new universe like and hour or two ago? Uh, what is this? Shit forgot I'd have to explain. It's a gravestone you dumbass. Obviously.

I can tell you idiot but why are you looking at it like you remember it? Wait do you remember it? I sighed. I didn't exactly wanna have to tell these two anything, but did I really have a choice? Yes. But I'm not explaining why, it's none of your business. Actually, could yall maybe explain how we're even here? Cause I zoned out, I don't remember anything. Yall had to have seen.

They were quiet for a moment, probably considering how to explain. We don't exactly know, you were just kinda walking and eventually we both noticed we were back in the area of the woods that was in your universe. Huh. That isn't exactly helpful. After a moment of thinking, I had a moment of realization. "How the fuck am I supposed to get back to the castle." I accidentally spoke out loud without realizing just due to the sudden panic I just had. God that'd have been so embarrassing if I hadn't been in the middle of the woods. Screw it, we're staying here till Moon decides to come looking for us, I have no other ideas cause I don't even know where the actual universe is and I'm guessing you two don't either.

Nope. Works for me, I don't mind just waiting a bit.

While waiting, I started feeling a bit tired, so I ended up just laying down on the ground and looking up at the stars. I could feel myself drifting off to sleep. I didn't exactly want to fall asleep, but I hadn't properly slept in I don't even know how long now. And then, everything faded to black as I fell into a deep sleep.

??? POV (3rd person):

The creature watched from the shadows as the familiar humanoid laid down. It knew who they were. It had to. Why else did the humanoid seem so familiar otherwise? It didn't dare get close. It knew how humans were. If anyone found out it was still alive, well, it certainly wouldn't end well. Monsters were supposed to have gone extinct years ago, so why was it still alive? It didn't know. All it knew was humans didn't want it around.

The humanoid seemed so calm as they looked up at the stars and drifted off to sleep. Stars.. Why does that feel familiar too..? It was so confused by everything, but couldn't help but watch over the humanoid. It couldn't tell if they were actually human or not, but they looked human enough. It felt protective over the strange human, not sure why. It just had the urge to protect them.

As if that's what it had been created to do.

{Wew, kinda short chapter but I wanted to at least give you the next part of the cliffhanger lol. Hope you enjoy this and our new little friend :3
