I managed to stand myself up, my balance not being very good. I noticed the person's body seeming to glitch, their appearance changing as they did so. It was weird, I had never seen a vessel or monster's body act that way. The glitching, yes, it was pretty normal with certain monsters, but never the appearance changing along with it.
I managed to hold up a fight with them. We fought with no weapons at first, I wasn't even sure they had any. Their powers were strong enough though that it made things difficult. They had some sort of control over souls, meaning they could grab them and move the person that way, a common power among certain monsters, but really only dangerous if they knew how to use it well. Which this person did. And god did they love throwing me at shit. Trees, the ground, literally anything they could.
I was surprised I hadn't felt a bone or two break yet. Though the coughing up blood just kept getting worse, as well as also getting a bloody nose. I decided to just say fuck it and bring the weapons out, not feeling the need to continue like this anymore.
I summoned my knives, continuing the fight like that. But no, of course my luck had to suck. They had weapons too. Two katana looking swords. Oh for fucks sake of course they have a weapon that's like 10 times better.
The fight kept going, neither of us wanting to back down. I eventually got stuck in a shit situation. They had swung an attack at me with both swords, and I had managed to block it with my knives, however they kept pushing down, making it harder to keep the blades away from me.
I watched as their body glitched more, their sinister grin never once leaving their face. It didn't bother me much, until I saw my own face looking back at me for a moment. Not me currently though, me form a couple months ago, before everything that had happened. Back when I still thought I was human.
{???'s POV (First person):}
I had him nearly pinned down. I taunted him a bit, of course. Making myself look like a version of himself I knew he missed. I decided to look through his memories a bit more, looking to find anyone else I could taunt him with.
I decided to just not, as none of them would be very fun to me. I just pushed myself away from him, grabbing his soul once again. It was always funny seeing people squirm and try and get free. I tossed him into a tree again, making sure he'd hit it hard enough it'd knock him out.
I watched as his body hit the ground, clearly unconscious. I decided that would be enough for now, and I could always just find him again. I teleported away, catching a glimpse of two other vessels walking over as right as I did. Whatever I guess, not my problem anymore. I decided to hop around universes some more. It was boring now that I was out, and chaos wasn't exactly always easy to create. Ugh, now I'm just boreddd, there's nothing fun to do anymore. At least the lab had the fights which gave us something. But no, now that's just gone.
We could always go find you some new clothes, cause I'm sure you probably don't wanna keep wearing what the lab gave you, especially now since it's quite messed up from the fire. That seemed like a reasonable idea, so I decided to find some kind of shop or something I could get clothes from. I eventually found some abandoned mall in a random universe, and looked around for any clothing stores that might have had some things left there that I could just take.
I did manage to find some stuff that I liked, and found somewhere to change into them at. So, Connie, what's you're plan from here? I heard Kat ask after I finished changing. Probably just find something to do that will cause some more chaos, y'know, the usual. I answered, leaving the mall and heading off to find something to do. The universe I was in seemed similar to the one I had been staying in before, but just a bit different.
I wandered around a random woods, until stumbling upon what seemed to be an old broken down castle. There were people there, I could tell. I watched from a distance, debating if I should go over or not. If there were people, maybe I could cause some chaos. I snickered a bit, then teleported to a more hidden area in the trees to keep a watch over the place.
Y'know I recognize this place. This is Nightmare, the Guardian of Negativity's old castle. I wonder if his host is there now. Kat chimed in as we watched over the place. Oh really? Well then maybe we will be getting some chaos in today.
