{Slight su!c1d3 mentions}

Miles suggest I get a bit more rest before we figure more out about the random guy from our universe, and I reluctantly agreed. Soon enough, I did end up finding myself drifting off into sleep.

{???'s POV (3rd person):}

It was quiet. Too quiet. He hated it. He wasn't allowed to leave though, so he had to deal with his days being filled with near silence, the only sounds being the beeping of the many machines he was connected to as well as the occasional footsteps outside the door.

He wished he hadn't been found. He would've finally been free from the torture of life. Wish I could just get the fuck out of here.. He thought to himself, looking around the room once more. There hadn't been anything new to it, it was still as boring as ever.

...

He was out finally. That was good. However, he was now being watched over almost constantly by Mrs. Darla. She had been really worried, and now was even more worried he'd try to again. Which unfortunately for him, he had been planning on it.

After a couple weeks though, she got better. She must've realized he was fine, and eventually stopped. She was of course still worried, it was pretty clear to him that she was, but at least she trusted him again.

Which meant sending him back to school. After his attempt, it had felt like the whole school knew. That was the new thing people made fun of him for. Some gave him pity, but he knew it wasn't genuine. They didn't actually care. Why would they? They never cared before. At least it made school less like hell, with less people actually bullying him.

He was still considered the weird quiet kid, but he didn't care. He still would just live that life and deal with it.

...

He started running. He didn't know why. Something in him told him to just leave. To leave and run away forever. Maybe he'd return later, but for now, he needed to leave. He wanted to go home.

{???'s POV (1st person, new POV, takes place a few chapters ago):}

Something about that boy that I had seen set me wrong. I didn't know what it was. He seemed so familiar. And whatever the reason was, it couldn't have been a good reason. Then I saw it's face. That thing was a vessel. A merged one. And by the looks of it, it was the one I had failed to catch years ago.

Me and my buddy had caught the wrong one. We had caught the vessels brother. And now, here it is years later. Alive and in a state we were wanting to avoid it from ever getting to. It must've noticed me staring, which I had not intended to do, because it got closer to it's 'friend' and they left.

Shit. I need to keep a look out for that thing more. If it's still alive, maybe I can actually catch it this time.

{Dagger's POV (1st person):}

I woke up oddly calm again, this time luckily with not headache or anything. However, I did have an odd feeling I may have an idea of who the man staring at me was. "You alright?" I heard Miles ask. "Mhm, just thinking. Something is telling me I do know that guy from earlier, but I still can't put my finger on it. No helpful memories coming to me in dream form either. Just another thing from my past school life."

"Ah, well maybe you'll be able to figure it out soon. Any like clues to it that your brain is maybe giving you?" I shook my head. "Nothing, just a very weird sense of familiarity."

"Hm. Guess we'll just have to try some more to figure him out." I nod. "I guess so."

{Kinda short chapter, but I'm still a bit low on motivation so at least I'm getting it out. Congrats if you can use context clues as to new dude and who he is (no you dont get to see him yet, you wont for a while) and reminder this au and moon (who was not mentioned) belongs to my friend @FanFicLover6982 who has her own book that will help this make more sense. Sorry again that this has taken a bit longer to get published, I just was in a bit of writers block the last few days (sorta still am but its gone enough i was able to figure something out)}
