{TW: Acts of c@nn!b@l!sm}

{Dagger's POV (First person)}

I felt myself floating in that familiar void again. The one I had been in with my interaction with Mother Death. I knew I was asleep, but my mind was here. It wasn't exactly a void, as I had come to realize, but was actually just my mind. Meaning it didn't have to be a void necessarily, but I liked it this way. It was calming.

It was nice getting to just relax a bit, after the whole panic attack I had just had. I was glad Moon had found me and helped out. But I still hated having to depend on people for that type of thing. At least it was over now.

I figured I should probably wake up soon though, since I knew sleep tended to go by quicker than how long it had really been. So I did, snapping myself back into reality. When I woke back up, I realized the pain in my chest was practically gone completely, which was good. I didn't exactly want to deal with that longer than needed.

I did feel weird though. I was hungry, but normal food didn't seem appetizing. It was the same hunger I had at the lab Moon was at. That hunger for human meat. Well shit. Guess I'll have to find something. Cause I sure as hell ain't waiting for this to go away.

I got up, noticing Moon was still asleep. I was sure she wouldn't notice if I left for a bit, and even if she did, I wasn't planning to leave the universe, not yet at least. I didn't wanna waste too much energy by teleporting. That way she'd be able to find me easier, at least I hoped she'd be able to. I left, deciding to go find someone near the edge of the woods that I could maybe grab and bring back into the woods to eat.

To my luck, I did find someone. Some guy, looked to be maybe early 20's. I stayed hidden behind the trees, watching for a moment no one was around. When that time came, I tossed a knife at him, hitting him directly in the back of the head. He fell over, unmoving. I guessed I hit a decently vital spot, meaning it'd be easy to actually kill him if that hadn't.

I went over and dragged the body deeper into the woods, away from eyesight. I didn't wanna be caught doing it. Not that I was actively regretting it, but still, it's not something I wanna be caught doing. I grabbed out the butchers knife I had because of Horror, and began cutting up the body into pieces easier to eat. I also specifically cut out the organs, wanting to eat some of them. It had started getting a bit dark by the time I had finished cutting up the body, but it had also been kinda late when I had first left, so likely only an hour or so had passed.

My hands and forearms had already gotten covered in blood, which I couldn't do anything about yet. I started eating the heart first, so far it was probably the best part to me. The rest of the organs were not as good, but I had also quite enjoyed the kidneys. After the few organs I did like eating, I moved onto the arms and legs. I had cut off the hands and feet, as they were just not good and didn't really have much good meat anyways. I could feel the blood on my arms starting to dry up, and wiped what I could off of my face.

I could honestly only really blame Horror for this, as he had eaten human meat before everything that had happened to him. From his first influence to now, it was really all because of him. I would've never done this on my own doing.

I could tell hours had passed, at least one or two, but I was still just happily eating. I didn't mind if I had to be out here for a while. Maybe I'd be found, maybe not, in the moment I didn't actually really care. I just wanted the craving to go away.

You really are being influenced from me, huh kid? I heard Horror ask. Guess so. It's kinda hard to not, this merging thing, it seems like the longer you're merged the more you start to act like the monster or monster's you've merged with. It's kind of a neat yet terrifying fact, just knowing some of the monsters out there.

I continued to just finish up eating what I wanted from the body, which was really just the arms, legs, part of the torso, and some of the organs. And I still wasn't exactly trying to be quick with it. It was just like a regular meal almost, I just ate at my own pace, making sure to finish up all that I had actually planned to eat.
