Panic

The next morning when I had gone down to get breakfast, I felt weird. I hadn't had any nightmares that night. That's never happened before. It's always that same damn nightmare. Repeating in my mind like fucking torture. However for once my sleep had been free of that horrid nightmare. As much as I hated the nightmare, it felt weird not having it. I just ignored it and ate my breakfast, which was just a couple pieces of toast because I was really not hungry. Bro, you should really eat more than just toast. Killer chimed in as I was eating. No thanks, I'm pretty sure if I tried to eat more than this I'd actually throw up.

Was I partially lying just so I didn't have to eat a lot, yes, but in all honesty I genuinely wasn't that hungry at the moment. I noticed Moon was just eating a chocolate bar, and whether or not that had genuinely just been what they were eating for breakfast, I wasn't one to judge.

After eating we continued to work more on figuring out the book we found the day before. It was so confusing and really had me wondering if my family had known what I was and just didn't tell me. Moon at one point spaced out, so I grabbed their attention back. "Dude, you gotta stop zoning out like that, you're lowkey startin' to worry me." Says you. Killer chimed in again. Shut. Up.

Some time passed and we had eventually finished the whole book. We were honestly left with more questions than answers, but were again much to tired to deal with it much more and decided to take a bit of a late lunch/early dinner break. I ended up just making myself a sandwich and was once again yelled at by Killer and Horror to eat more than just that. Oh my stars, chill out you two I'm fine. I'm just not hungry.

Uh huh, sure. You better not keep doing this kid. I just rolled my eyes at them and kept eating. Once done, I decided to try and get back to the one clearing in the woods. I knew I needed to relive those memories. It was the only way to clear my conscious. I excused myself and let Moon know once again that I was going on a walk and might be a while.

"Don't be too worried if I'm gone a couple hours. I plan to be a while, so unless it starts getting too late and I'm not back, don't bother to come looking." I didn't exactly want them to try and come find me while I'm doing this. Personally I would've liked to have been completely alone, but I had some idiot voices in my head I couldn't get rid of, so this would be the best I could get.

Killer at one point had explained that I was able to teleport, and that's how I had gotten to my universe the last time. So, this time, I did it properly and didn't accidently just teleport somewhere random in the woods. I teleported directly to the clearing. As soon as I got there, I noticed a creature. It was completely black and looked almost anamorphic. "What the..?" It noticed me, and looked up, startled. That's when I noticed it eyes. They were a bright red with black irises. There was also black drips coming from its eyes. Different from mine. They were more of thick tears, like it was constantly crying ink.

I knew exactly what it was. "Woah.. a shadow walker? I thought these went extinct with all the other monsters.." I noticed it was still scared of me, so I cautiously back away from it, showing I meant no harm. It seemed to understand and got closer, seemingly inspecting me. This creature seemed more familiar than just knowing it's species, but I couldn't put my finger on it. I chuckled a bit as it circled around me, then sat down in front of me with it's head tilted in confusion. "Well aren't you a curious creature." I bent down a bit and pat its head. It's hair, despite being messy, was oddly soft. "I never thought I'd get to meet and actual monster in person.. I've always read about them but.. wow.."

Some time went by as I hung out with this strange creature, trying to get to know it more. It struggled with speaking, but I managed to help it out enough we could have genuine conversations. I learned it had been hiding out in the woods for years, avoiding humans out of fear. It couldn't remember anything from it's past, but felt safe around me due to a strange feeling of familiarity. Huh.

Eventually, I started feeling tired again, and against my better judgement, I fell asleep.

{Dagger's ĐⱤɆ₳₥?? (3rd person)}

A boy, probably around 12 or 13, was running around in a clearing in the woods. He was waiting for his brother who promised to meet him there. It was taking too long and the boy was getting impatient. He decided to go searching for him. "BROTHER??" He walked around, shouting for his brother.

After some time of looking, he headed back to the clearing, thinking perhaps his brother had made it to the clearing.  That's when he saw it. His brother's bloodied and mangled body being dragged away by two masked people. "Brother!" He tried running after them, but the figures had already been too far away. He had no chance of reaching them.

Still, he ran. He never stopped. He kept running until his legs could no longer hold him up anymore, and then..

{Real world. Dagger's POV. 3rd person.}

I jolted awake, my breathing heavy. Fuck not this again. I couldn't stop my breathing from being so heavy. I also couldn't stop the tears that soon flooded my eyes. I looked around, my vision blurry. I tried wiping some of the tears. I hadn't been asleep long, but the creature was gone. Fuck.. Not this. Not now. Please.

The tears just kept coming. I gave up on controlling it. I just sat over by my brother's gravestone and cried, my knees curled up to my chest and my head resting on top of my knees. I just kept crying. I even ignored Killer and Horror trying to calm me down. I didn't care. It wouldn't help. The image of my brother was so vivid in my mind it scared me. I just wanted it to go away.

{Woo! Chapter done! Yes this chapter was a lot more lore and angst based, but it needed to happen lol. Once again Moon belongs to my friend @FanFicLover6982 still sorry about not being able to properly @ them, my Wattpad is annoying whenever I try to.}
