{???'s POV (3rd person):}

His vision blurred into focus very slowly. He didn't know where he was or what going on. All he could tell was that the room he was in was almost completely white, and there was some kind of beeping noise that wouldn't stop.

He tried sitting up, but everything hurt. He felt someone lay him back down. "Don't try sitting up, it's gonna hurt less if you stay laying down." He heard an unknown voice say. "Wh-.. Who are you..? Where am I..??" This situation felt too similar. A new place. A new stranger. 

"I'm -----, and you're in a hospital. I found you out by the school entrance covered in blood. My guess is you tried to jump and end your life, am I correct..?" The boy just nodded as much as he could. He tried sitting up just a bit, so he could see the persons face.

{Dagger's POV (1st person):}

I woke up to a massive headache. "Ughhh.. My fuckin' head hurts againnn.." I complained. Despite originally planning to sit up once I woke up, I ended up just staying laid down on Miles' lap. Huh. Weird, I feel unusually calm after that whole.. memory..

Maybe just the fact you had someone with you while it was happening? He might've noticed you having the nightmare and tried to calm you down. I heard Horror say. Huh, maybe you're right with that. In all honesty I didn't care what the reason was. I was just glad I was able to be calm after all that.

I could feel Miles still running his fingers through my hair. I honestly didn't mind, it was oddly comforting. "Why the fuck are you petting me?" I joked, wanting to just mess with him about it. "Your hair's soft. And I can tell it's calming you down, so." He wasn't wrong, it was calming me down a lot. And it was oddly also helping with the headache.

"Ok fair I guess. It is helping, so." I had given up on bothering to get up, and decided I was just gonna stay like this until I physically had to get up. I heard Miles chuckle a bit then say, "You comfy there?"

"Yes now shut up and let me be comfy in peace."

Me and Miles had just continued to chat about really whatever came to mind, mostly just more getting to know each other despite us having been almost nonstop talking the past few days. It was entertaining though, so neither of us really cared.

"Y'know, I haven't seen your friend since we got here, I wonder where she is." It was true, as far as we knew, she had been upstairs somewhere. But, knowing Moon, she had actually probably gone to go do something but teleported as to not disturb us or something. Dunno why, but I had started to notice that was a common thing Moon did: put other peoples feelings before her own.

"She's probably fine, knowing her she probably just teleported somewhere and isn't just still up in her room. She'll be back soon I'm sure." It did feel odd that she kinda just left without saying anything, but I didn't bother questioning her reasons. "Yeah, you're probably right."
