Stares..

After what was probably a couple hours of me and Miles just laying together and chatting, he finally forced me to get up. "Alright c'mon, you need to eat something so get your ass up." He was unfortunately stronger than me at this point in time due to me being too tired to actually try, and easily picked me up.

"Oh come onnnn, I was comfyyyy." I complained, but didn't bother trying to actually stop him. "Too bad, we're going and getting food." Ha, looks like you've finally got someone to force you to take care of yourself. I heard Killer say. Oh shut it. "Where are we even going-?"

"Back to our universe if you have enough energy to teleport, if not I plan to just find something in that nearby town." Made sense I guess. I did in fact have enough energy due to having slept for a decent while earlier. I teleported us back to our universe, making sure to put my hood up just to make it less obvious what I was.

I just let Miles lead me wherever, cause in all honesty I didn't have anywhere in mind to go. He led me to a café that felt a bit familiar, but I couldn't exactly remember why. Probably had just been somewhere I'd gone before. We both went in and ordered our food, then sat down at a random table to eat and chat some more.

I had gotten to the point I didn't care if people saw what I was, if they wanted to stare, oh well. However, one particular person stood out a bit. The way they were looking at me, I could tell they knew me. But I had zero recognition of them. "Dude, is it just me or is that guy just fucking staring at me? Like I know other people kinda are too, but this guy just feels different.." I whispered to Miles, motioning over to the person. Miles nodded. "Yeah I see what you mean. You wanna just leave..? I don't want you being too uncomfortable." I nodded. I honestly was starting to feel uncomfortable.

Miles and I went up to pay, and I noticed the guy still staring at me. As much as I didn't mind most of the stares I got, I hated this. I could tell he recognized me. His stares were of just pure hatred. I moved a bit closer to Miles, not exactly feeling very safe right now. He noticed and wrapped an arm around my shoulder. It helped, and I felt a lot safer with him near. It was odd. I knew I could handle myself just fine, but for some reason this guy made me feel like I wouldn't have been able to.

Miles and I left after he finished paying, and he made sure to keep me close just in case. "Wanna head back to the castle? You'll probably feel better going there instead." I nod, but wasn't sure how far my energy could get me.

It unfortunately didn't get us to the castle, but we got to the woods, which was fine. I liked being able to just walk and chat a bit with Miles for a bit. Just being around him made me feel better. God.. who was that guy..?? Why did he seem to hate me so much?? I thought as we got to the castle. I still had that feeling of unease, despite knowing we were in a completely different universe than that guy.

When we got back inside, we ended up just laying back down together, mainly because he knew it had calmed me down easily earlier, which I wasn't gonna complain to. I assumed Moon would end up noticing my negative energy coming back to the universe, but wondered how they'd actually react to it. Like would they check if I was ok? I didn't know, it was hard to tell with them. Plus they might've been busy. Eh, I decided I'd just wait and see, and just let Miles comfort me in the meantime.
