The rest of the day continued to go shitty. I kept getting dragged out of my room and tossed into more fights. By the time it started getting a bit dark outside, I had been tossed into about 3 other fights, all of which I had managed to win. My whole body ached though. I was now covered in scars and I could no longer physically move without something hurting.
The black stuff on my arms and legs seemed to not be spreading, which I guessed was a good thing, though I still had no idea what it was. I ended up just laying down, trying to not zone out too much otherwise, because whenever I did my nails, or now claws, would start subconsciously digging into the skin on my arms, which just caused more unnecessary pain.
Despite finally getting some break time of not having to fight, I was still shocked multiple times for no other reason but to cause me more pain. I was already sick of it. I was tired, I felt weak, and everything hurt. I hadn't slept in the time I was here, I just couldn't. I was too wary of what might happen if I did. Plus, everything just hurt to much to anyways.
I was honestly so ready to give up. I was beginning to think no one was gonna find me. I mean, how would they? From what I remembered this lab had been in the middle of nowhere. It'd be nearly impossible. Plus, it was so heavily guarded there'd be no easy way in. It felt hopeless.
Killer and Horror had continued to try and talk to me, but I just kept ignoring them. I didn't feel like listening to them right now. I just wanted to be alone with my thoughts so I could try and calm down. Just leave me alone you two, I'm not in the mood to talk. I hoped they'd actually listen for once.
A couple minutes passed and the pain I was feeling slowly was going away. I was able to sit back up, and decided to try and pass some time by pulling at the collar some more to see if I could maybe get it off a bit more than before.
It hurt, but I did actually feel it start to pull away from my skin a bit. But god it hurt like hell to do so. I could feel a bit of blood start to go down my neck. I decided that was a good sign to stop. So I went to the next most entertaining thing to do, which was pulling at the chains some more. This time, it actually did something. I heard a slight crack as I was pulling at them again, and noticed that one of them had actually started to break.
I kept pulling at it, hoping it'd break fully, and eventually, it did. Only one broke, but it was better than nothing. The breaking was so sudden if I hadn't been still attached to another chain I probably would've ended up falling, but the other chain caught me enough I could keep my balance. I started pulling at the other chain more, now that I actually had a free hand to do so, and once again after a bit of pulling, I was able to get it to break. I did actually fall this time, but hey, I was somewhat free now so I didn't care that much. The chains themselves were still locked on my wrists, but I had managed to break a part of them off of the rest of the chains.
{Gonna end this here a bit short because this is mainly a filler because of the point of the story this is at. Reminder this au belongs to @FanFicLover6982 and you should totally check out their book to see their characters side of things}
