Consequences

As Moon and her friend explained their side of things, I made sure to keep a slight eye on Tavnora. The others hadn't noticed her luckily, I wasn't sure how they'd react to her considering the last interactions they had. I also noticed my migraine had barely started going away, despite having finished up my job at the lab. In fact it felt like it was getting worse.

Oh for fucks sake, this again? Moon seemed to notice my discomfort and asked what was up. "Nothing, just some side affects of my job. I should be fine in a bit." Moon didn't seem fully convinced I was fine but dropped it. "You guys should get back to the castle, it's safer there than here." I suggested. They agreed, and teleported back.

I felt the migraine once again start getting worse. Reaper please tell me this is actually what I think it is?  I waited for his response, trying to stay upright with how bad it was getting. Yeah, you're close enough to another area with a lot of unreaped souls. But I think this ones in a different universe, I'm not sensing anything else here.

Well shit, that meant I'd have to figure out which universe it was actually at. I had an idea, but wasn't sure. I noticed Tavnora walking over, looking a bit nervous and slightly concerned as well. "You alright? You don't look like you're doing so well." I just shook my head no. "Migraine. It's the unfortunate side affect of my job."

My vison was starting to get a bit dizzy, meaning I knew I had to hurry the fuck up to get rid of this migraine. I had to hold onto the wall a bit to even stay standing up. "I'm going to Dagger's universe, somethings telling me he did something there and that's what's causing this. I suggest you follow me just in case, I'm not exactly sure how much energy I'll have after this, so teleporting might become an issue for me." She understood and nodded, and I teleported us to where I assumed the destruction was at.

I was right. The lab in his universe met a similar fate of the other one. There were still flames that had been yet to put out, meaning this was a decently recent thing. I swear to god if Dagger did this. I summoned my scythe again, then headed inside and began reaping the souls. A lot of the building had fallen apart already, which made it pretty easy to get around surprisingly enough.

I did luckily feel the migraine finally start to die down, but it certainly left my body feeling physically weak. At least you didn't pass out this time. That was fair, as it had gotten to that point before in the past. After I finished up, I put my scythe away, then took a moment to just calm down. Too much had been happening at once today. I left the building, and just by observing the bodies, I could tell Dagger had done this.

{Dagger's POV (First person):}

After cleaning myself up a bit from all the blood and dust, I decided to head outside for a bit. Miles had gone back to our universe, so I needed something to do to entertain myself. Sometimes it was nice to just go outside and get some fresh air.

It felt off though. Like someone else was there and I just couldn't see them. I walked around a bit, looking around to see if I was correct. I heard footsteps behind me, and turned around quickly. In front of my stood a slightly familiar face. I remembered fighting them in the lab, they had been one of the few I hadn't killed yet still won the fight.

They must've gotten out of the fire from the lab, but clearing not without a good few burns. "Well look who we have here. The one who thought they could just burn down the lab and not face consequences. Well tada! Here I am, the consequences of your actions." Their tone was a bit sinister, and it actually sent shivers down my spine.

I felt a grip on my soul, and suddenly I was tossed directly into a tree. God it fucking hurt. I coughed a bit, noticing blood splattering into my hands when I did. Shit, this bitch is fucking strong. Everything had started hurting, and I wasn't sure how long this person planned to fight. From what I guessed, they weren't gonna quit until I was passed out or dead.
