"mm.." I yawned, turning over peacefully. Everything felt nice, no hard floor, no harsh light or pitch darkness, no creepy noises going on... just peace and quiet. However, nothing could stay like that forever. My ADD-like mind kicked in, and I slowly stirred awake. When I opened my eyes, I panicked for a moment because I wasn't at home. Where is home anyways? What did I consider home, was it the guys' place or was it back where my parents...

I cut off that thought and rubbed my eyes, slowly adjusting to the sunlight that was peaking into the light colored room. I finally sat up with an inward sigh, frowning at how sore I was as I made out my surroundings. I was resting on the middle cushion of a light tan couch next to a lunchbox with a giant red S on it in a red circle with a blue background. I studied it for a moment, pressing my hand against the cool metal lightly. I think I've seen this before.... Yeah, I've seen this before! Ty was showing me how he and the guys record when I saw this. The YouTuber's name was uhm... KeplinSpurlez, no... CaptainSprinklez?- No no no,- CaptainSparklez, that's it!

"Hey you're awake! How ya feeling?" I jumped in surprise, whipping around and slamming into the lunch box.

"Ouch!" I yelped. Jordan flinched guiltily, taking a few steps closer whilst marveling at me.

"Sorry, you ok?" I grumbled to myself and rubbed the top of my head.

"I'm already sore, and I have this cut on my leg; I don't need anything worse." I groused.

"A cut? For how long?"

"... I uh... a while...?" I guessed.

"That sounds serious. Mind if I take a look at it?" I narrowed my eyes at him for a moment before sighing and nodding. He left for a moment and then returned with some medicine and a cu-tip in hand as I sat down. I hesitantly pulled my leggings up my leg enough to show the nasty mark. I heard him draw in a sharp breath as he started to doctoring it.

"... Samantha." I said suddenly.

"Hm?"

"My name's Samanth-" I cut off with a hiss as the ointment touched my ripped skin.

"Sorry." He quickly apologized, trying again, only gentler. It still stung, so I bit my lip as we went silent. Then he spoke up again with, "So... How long did you say you've been injured, Samantha?" I flicked my ears in wary. Normally humans ask ridiculous questions like "What are you?" or "Are you real?", but not this one.

"A..." I squinted to tr to remember. "I think it's been a week." He paused.

"How can you not remember if it's been a week of a wound slowly infecting?" He asked.

"I never saw daylight cycles in a cage." I replied sullenly. He gaped at me.

"You were caged?"

"Mhm."

"You mean, like an animal?"

"Mmhmm." He got up and left again, probably to fetch something. I twiddled with the corner of the blanket that had been my covers until he returned with a paper towel. He kneeled down again and started ripping off thin but long shreds of the paper towel when he asked quietly, "You're not... an animal, right?" I almost laughed at this. Finally, he asks.

"Mm, no don't think so. You know any animal that talks? I'm a hybrid. A neko." I explained as he wrapped the shreds around my leg, binding it.

"No, don't think so. There we go, all fixed up." He moved away as I pushed myself to my feet. I hesitantly put weight on my injured leg, feeling Jordan's wary gaze. I fully set down my foot, and nothing happened.

"That's funny, it was so bad just the other-" My muscles gave in and I stumbled forward, almost falling when Jordan quickly reached forward and caught me. ". . . Thanks." I grumbled, pushing against his hand for support as I tried standing up again.

"Guess it'll take some time before you heal?" I nodded wordlessly, then looked up as an idea formed into my mind.

"Hey, do you know Adam Dahlberg's number?"
