Goblin Village

A\N : I will call Kiyotaka Rimuru from now on. This chapter starts after Rimuru comes out of the cave.

Rimuru POV :

After I came out of the cave, I didn't encounter a single monster. According to Veldora, he is somewhat a diety of this forest and this forest filled with monters. Perhaps that three adventurers kill them? Giving by their nervousness when entering the cave and their strengths. I don't think that is possible.

As I was jumping, I happens to land between a fight. One side there are wolves and other side with goblins, with poor strength and equipment compared to the wolves.

"Grrr."

When I looked towards the wolves, they run away like kittens. Whereas, the goblins stops in terror. Why is that?

(Master is currently leaking all his aura. Due to that, all the nearby monsters run away.)

I see. There instincts are tellimg them to run away from me. I instantly vanish all my aura completely and look towards the goblins who instantly kneel infeont of me.

"Ohh, strong one. Please spare our lives. We are goblins, weak one." said one of them.

"Okay. But can you give me anything in return for sparing your lives?"

"W-Well, we don't have much for ourselves. But I am sure the village elder can do something."

"I see. Take me to your village."

After that, I started follow them to their village. They are still walkimg nervously but I ignored it. Soon, I reached their village and after seeing it, only two words came to my mind.

Pitiful and Pathetic.

I followed them to the somewhat main tent and enter it. Upon entering, I saw a very old goblin along with the one who brought ms here. They offer me a glass of water which I ignored. They both instantly kneeled to me.

"I have already heard about your hidden strength from my son. Could you please listen to a request from us?" asked the elder.

"A request? Go on." I said.

"About a month ago, the dragon god Veldora-sama got disappeared and many monsters trying to conquer this forest. The powerful Fang Wolves are trying to take over our village and we have to protect ourselves from them. But they are too strong for us. Even if ten of us fight a single wolf, we would be killed immediatly."

"So, you want me to take care of them."

"Y-Yes..."

"What will you give me in return?"

"We all will give our utmost loyalty to you. If you save our village from them."

"Are you sure? I would never allow betrayal and I would even sacrifice some of you, if a situation arises."

"..... Yes. We will accept any terms."

"Excellent."

"Okay. I will stay in this village from now on and will protect you all from other monsters."

"Thank you so much Great One!!"

"Call me Rimuru. That's my name."

"As expected of someone like you to have a name. Yes, we will address you Rimuru-sama from now on."

"First let me take to the injured ones. I have a way to heal them completely."

"Yes Rimuru-sama."

Then they both takes me to the injured tent. I saw multiples goblins injured and near death.
