Harrison's POV
One week later
"Good morning." Evelyn says as she laid on top of me. She sits up and checks her phone. I rub my eyes yawning. "Good morning." I say. Evelyn flew back home last night after a few days in Boston. She came straight to my house from the airport. Penelope had the kids as it was her days of the week.
Evelyn wraps her covers around herself. It was hitting 10 am and had a few meetings today and some work to do. She puts her phone down sighing. "I have so much to do." She sighs. I pull her in and she giggles falling back on my chest as I kiss her lips.
My fingers slip to pull off the cover. My phone rings besides me and I look at it stopping. It was Penelope. "Sorry." I say as I sit up. Evelyn just smiles and heads underneath the covers as I answer the phone.
"Hello." I say answering as I clear my throat. Evelyn had now taken me into her mouth making me reach out and grabbing her hair stopping her. I couldnt focus on Penelope's voice with Evelyn's tongue sliding down me. "One second Penelope." I say.
Evelyn looks up and rolls her eyes before she gets up walking off into the bathroom.
"Whats up?" I say
"I had a call from Ashley's school." She says. "They said we need to come in. Im not sure if youre around."
"Yeah. Just at home." I say. "Whats wrong?"
"No idea. Just asked me to come in?"
"Okay. Ill meet you there." I say sighing. "Do you want breakfast?" Evelyn asks coming into the room. She picks up her jeans next to me on the floor.
"Eh.. Okay bye." Penelope says. I look at Evelyn. "Now youre talking to me?" I ask her
"Well you just not much fun when your ex wife is around." She says and I roll my eyes. "I have to go. Ashley's school..." I tell her. "Cool." She says as she picks up her shoes and her phone. "Bye.."
As she leaves I roll my eyes. I do not wish to be involved in drama like this. Easier to stay single I guess. I might need to end it with Evelyn. Her attachment was growing...
I get myself ready and leave the house. I find Penelope putting Azaiah in his stroller as she stood by the door.
"Hey." I say walking over. "Hi buddy." I say as I lean in kissing Azaiah. He smiles wide and reaches out for me. I kiss him again and pick up the stroller and walk up the steps.
"What do you think happened?" She asks me. I look at her. She wore jeans and a black jacket on top. Fresh faced, her lashes done. Hair done. She looked beautiful as always.
"I can bet a thousand dollars on a fight." I say sighing. "Im going to bet a thousand dollars on refusing to do what the teacher said." She says and I nod.
"Hi were Ashley-James Young's parents." I say as the lady looks up at reception. "Yes have a seat, the principal will be with you."
We sit down and I play with Azaiah as we wait.
"Hi Mr and Mrs Young." The principal says. I forgot his name. I watch Penelope open her mouth to correct the Mrs but decided against it.
"Hi." I say shaking his hand as he sticks it out. "Im Principal Greenwick."
"Just Harrison and Penelope." She says to him as we follow him in.
"Whats going on?"
"Well we called you in because we are having a few problems with Ashley-James. We tried to get him to join Maths but he refused and said he was going to draw. Then the teacher took away break time... he refused this too. Took a ball from another child and threw the ball at his head. They started fighting... we thought it was best to call you in and let you know Ashley-James will be suspended for five days. We have had this struggle for a while but if this continues we wont be able to provide Ashley-James with the education he needs... its impacting other children."
