Settled

I unconsciously murmur something while both men struggled to keep me awake. I heard Nathan asking about my hotel room but to his dismay i'm already too wasted to answer. For some unknown reason my lifeless arms clung onto Hervé's neck, that made both of us unsteady. 

He demanded Niccolo to find Dinara and Niccolo willingly obliged.

"I can't find Dinara,"

"Guess she went out..." Niccolo informed the guys beside me.

Felt his hands on the back of my knee then carried my limp body, bridal style. I dont know him personally and its my first time to see him tonight, realizing what i did and our awkward position right now made me even more sick.

"Hungry...ah..can i have—" i tried to push his chest but to my surprise his strength and hold on me can't be weakened. Heard them talking but was too lost in thoughts to understand what Nathan said to him.

I lost my vision again without a choice i helplessly rested my head on his shoulder. 

He helped me settle in the passenger seat and latched the seatbelt around my body. Hindi ko alam kung gaano katagal akong walang malay nagising nalang ako na nakalabas na kami ng club.

"Here drink this." Heard him sighed as i challenged his patience with me.

"I am not thirsty..." umiwas ako nang inilapit niya ang bottled water.

"Keep that on or you'll get cold." giit niya. "Woman, do you even know how to listen?" Napailing siya nang di pa rin ako nakikinig. 

He covered my body with trench coat then reclined my seat.  Inayos niya yun at siniguradong natakpan ang aking balikat.

"it's hot..." naiiyak kong reklamo pakiramdam ko ay nasasakal ako nang may nakadagan na tela sa aking leeg. I removed it and throw somewhere but was immediately stopped by a masculine hand. 

Heard him hissed and made sure that my skin is covered properly.

"You're really testing my patience right now." he continued driving.

I should worry that i am now inside a stranger's vehicle, but my head is killing me right now so i don't care whatever happened here there's nothing worse from feeling drunk and tasting the consequences of my actions.

Nagising nalang ako at napansin na nasa isang parking lot kami ng fastfood. I looked at him then down on the paper bag he's holding.

He leaned closer and adjusted my seat again. 

"I got take out. Waited for you to wake up so...i dont know what you prefer but this still good."

Can't help but look at him accusingly. Pagod siyang suminghap at nagtitimpi nalang sa akin. Inayos niya yun nang mapansing wala akong balak na kumilos. Isa isa nang nilabas ang mga order niyang pagkain.

I stare at the foods he ordered, weighing what i craved or what looks enticing to eat.

"Just eat." He demanded when i stare at it for too long. 

Inirapan ko siya at kumain na ako, gutom na gutom. Since i am facing his side and the food are placed in between us i have no choice but to see what he's doing, watch his every move.

I picked the burger and munched it silently. 

Tulala man ay nakita ko lahat ng galaw niya. How he pulled the drink out of the box, then unwrapped the straw and put it on my cup. Nakahanda na ang inumin ko sa harap.
