Epilogue

His bed feels so comfy. Nagising nalang ako na mag isa ako sa loob. I can smell the aroma from the kitchen and it made me suddenly want to eat.  Bumukas ang pintuan at pumasok si Deuce. He's wearing a white tshirt and a short now. I suddenly want him to snuggle with me on his bed.

"How's your sleep?"

"I'm hungry." Pagod akong humilata at suminghap na lamang. Mahina siyang tumawa.

"I feel so bad though...i'm not really a good help in the kitchen. I didn't mean to annoy your mom—"

"Oh, she's loving it. Mom enjoys being in the kitchen and making lunches for family. She rarely does mom things now because my sister and I don't really lived with her in one house anymore."

"Yeah, i guess mothers missed being a mom to their kids. Parents can only keep their children for eighteen years..." bulong ko. Hinawakan niya ang aking kamay at hinila patayo. 

"Thank you so much," 

"Now it all made sense why mom is so nosy." natatawa niyang hirit.

"What the hell?! Deuce!"

Deuce lifted me up on his shoulders like i'm a piece of sack with his arms around my butt and thighs making sure i'm not going to fall.

"Put me down!"

"Nah, we're going down." he said and playfully slapped my butt. It's so dumb that we both chuckled loudly like we're some immature kids.

Naghiyawan ang mga bata nang makitang pababa kaming dalawa ni Deuce na buhat ako. Ang lakas ng tawa nila Luna and Mona, cheering for their uncle. Nilamon ako n sobrang hiya. I saw how his family peeked from the dining and was so shocked to see Deuce casually carrying me.

"Oh mon dieu, qu'est-ce que tu fais, mon fils ? Vous, les enfants, êtes vraiment autre chose. Posez-la, elle pourrait être malade et somnolente!"

"Special delivery," Deuce joked as he put me down and made me sit comfortably on the chair.

"You dumbass!" Suway naman ng kaniyang kapatid sa kaniya at umiling nalang. "Are you alright, Av?" Giulia asked.

"Gym membership put in good use," Fabio joked.

"I am so sorry, guys..." I looked down, covering my face with my palm.

"Why the hell you carry her like she's just some potato sack!" his mom looked at me with outmost concern.

"Eh bien, pouvons-nous arrêter les harcelements?Ma femme a tellement faim et elle a besoin de manger maintenant. Épargnez-moi les regards des poignards, d'accord les gars?"

"Tu es si ennuyeux et enfantin que je ne sais pas pourquoi cette belle fille s'est installée pour le strict minimum quand elle peut trouver d'autres gars là-bas." Giulia hissed that it made Deuce laughed lowly.

"Seriously, Av, what did you see in him? I don't really know why you chose this dumbass."

"Stop making me look bad in front of my wife, alright?" May halong pang iinis na biro ni Deuce sa kaniyang kapatid.

"If you want to divorce him i'll gladly help," Giulia told me with seriousness.

"Heyyy!"

"Shut up, Deuce." Giulia immediately blocked.

"Good thing i have a lawyer brother in law." Deuce smirked and looked at Fabio.

"Damn," Fabio shooked his head. "I am working overtime because of you."

"Oh put this to rest will you?" His mom warned and started fixing the table setting. "You guys are all acting so childish. Look at my grandchildren here so prim and proper while all of you adults are acting weird,"
