Para bang nagmamadali siya nang isinulat iyong pahabol na mensahe. Umiling ako at natawa dahil sa nabasa at itinago ang tissue sa aking bulsa para magpatuloy sa pagbati sa mga pasahero.

This is a turn around flight it means we are going to prepare for another flight after this disembarkation. Hindi kami magtatagal dito sa italy at aalis din agad matapos ang boarding ng mga pax.

"How is your relationship with Herve going? Never heard from you guys in a while. We rarely hang out these days because we are all so busy with our jobs." Dinara started talking as soon as we are out of the office.

"We are doing great we are just really busy at work. I've heard that he is working on some paperwork related to his captaincy."

"Oh, what's the update of his captaincy by the way?"

"I am still not sure if his years of being in the company are enough to be promoted but he's busy working on it so i think we'll be getting positive results soon," naglakad na kami papunta sa arrival area at naroon na naghihintay ang bus.

"Well guys with the longest time in the company and the most experienced is usually the one promoted to captain in the seniority system used by most airlines." 

"The last time I visited the headquarters, there were a lot of fresh batches of newbie pilots, and from what I've heard, new aircrafts are arriving this year." Dinara continued to beam excitedly.

"What? More guys on the roster, huh?" umiling ako dahil sa masayang reaction ng aking kaibigan.

"When do you think you'll make the decision to settle down? If that day will come it indicates the end of the world." I continued.

Humalakhak siya at ngumisi. "I'm currently dating someone. Do you recall the guy I met in Maldives? He has now made three visits to spend time with me here in Dubai. I believe he is bringing his friends next time,"

I tensed up. 

"I take it that you guys are now secure and settled? I've been meaning to tell you something, but everything has been so stressful these past few weeks with what happened to Herve and you." maingat na sabi ni Dinara.

Natigil kami sa paglalakad at tulala akong naghintay sa kung anong sasabihin ng kaibigan. She smiled at me and excitedly continued.

"They will be paying us a visit here in Dubai! I'm really happy about this! I think I'm starting to truly like the guy I'm seeing. Next time, will you accompany me and watch him for me? I'd like to know if he's a good catch."

Alam kong minsan lang mangyari na ganito si Dinara pagdating sa lalake. Siguro nga gusto niya na mag seryoso.

Kaya napatango lang din ako at sumang ayon sa gusto ng kaibigan. Gaya ng dating gawi titignan ko lang naman kung okay ang lalake at kung pasado ba.
