"I...i am not sure with mine yet," wala sa sarili kong pagdadahilan habang binabasa ang sinend niyang copy.

"I am not demanding you to send me a copy of your schedule. Just inform me if both of our schedule are agreeable or if you're free,"

"I'm running out of duty hours so i might be sent back to the accommodation one of these days,"

May lumapit at bumati naman na isang japanese staff at maingat na nilapag ang dala sa aming mesa.

"Enjoy the night!" japanese girl greeted happily before leaving our table.

"Thank you," Hervé answered back then focuses his attention back to the gift basket in front of us. It's a little gift basket covered with red velvety cloth and red roses petals.

"It's a complimentary gift basket," i checked what's inside the basket and was surprise to find the little gifts. "There's a patty and jimmy shaped chocolate!"

I sounded a bit excited as i revealed what's inside the basket. May J and P keychains and a two stuff toy in a size a bit like my palm.

"These gifts are so random," natatawa kong sabi kasi naman nasa isang formal na restaurant kami tapos biglang may sanrio character gifts.

Binuksan ko ang p and j shaped chocolate at hinati yun sa dalawa. I gave the half of the chocolate which is jimmy to Hervé and took a bite on patty's chocolate leg.

"It tastes expensive." i murmured.

"I believe this chocolate is good to be paired with wine," he tried it then nodded. "It might look awfully cute but this kind of chocolate is indeed good."

Ginaya ko ang ginawa niya at totoo nga na masarap iyon kasama ang wine.

"Wait! Hey! That's mine!" reklamo ko nang bigla niyang kinuha ang patty key chain sa aking kamay.

He gave me jimmy instead.

"Here. That's yours. I'll take patty,"

Inirapan ko siya at tinanggap nalang yung bigay niya. Nakita niya lang na gusto ko yun tapos bigla niyang inagaw.

"What? I'm taking you with me everywhere i go," he smirked and showed me his so out of his character keychain together with his matted black leather loop and basic looking keys. Nag iisa na makulay at childish na laruan ang nakasabit doon.

Sinabit ko nalang sa gilid ng aking sling bag si jimmy kahit na mas gusto ko si patty. I heard him chuckling as he watch me putting the toy, hanging it on the side of my bag.

Then he suddenly pulled out a red box out of nowhere and showed it to me. I saw his lips curled mischievously and even have the guts to stop his manly laughs.

My chest started hurting because of how fast it's beating, unprepared for what has happened. Naka awang ang aking labi at tulalang nakatingin sa kaniya, naka abang sa susunod na gagawin.

Bumaba ang mata ko sa hawak niyang pulang box. Cartier is written on it.

"What's with a sudden gift..." i whispered lifelessly as my eyes continuously stare down on the red box. I thought it's a ring for one second kaya mas lalong kinabahan ako habang natulala roon.

He opened it and i was greeted with a sparkly diamond necklace.

Nangingiti siyang tumayo at lumapit sa akin para maisuot yun. It's 18k white gold, large model with a brilliant-cut diamond.

"I hope you like it," heard him whispered as he stood behind me, putting the Cartier d'Amour necklace on my neck.

"I figure you rarely wear a necklace and was a bit nervous picking this one up for you thinking you might not like it...so technically i was just taking a chance on this one." his nervous deep laugh surprised me since i really see him as someone who's always confident and sometimes arrogant.
