Blinded

What annoys me is that Malik brings Angelo along on friend group dates because he said he feels guilty about it. Angelo is his trainee and is also new to the country hence he doesn't know anyone.

Pero sino ba ako para mag inarte eh pinagdaanan ko rin iyan noon. Swerte nga ako kasi ang bait nila sa akin even though i am just new to the group.

Dinara grabbed me and made me assist her with her drinks. She placed a large order and kept asking for more, so I followed her around the tables as we conversed with the bartenders.

Even though we danced a lot earlier, I still feel safe and comfortable in my tube black dress, which allows me to move freely. Deuce didn't stop me from performing, but he was always keeping an eye out for me.

I even gave him a playful wink, but all he did was shake his head and take a sip of his beer. He's occupied conversing with Malik and other members of the flight crew.

Dinara smirked at me as she pulled my chair.

"What now?"

"Maul's number, by the way," she began writing on a tissue and offered it to me.

"Why?"

"Well, because we are all friends anyway, there isn't really a problem, is it? Having someone's number doesn't really indicate an unusual event is about to occur?"

Dinara winked and inserted a tissue into my tube bra. "Or perhaps this will have you have an incredible night? Though we'll never know for sure."

"Dinara, what the hell!"

"Hervé is a self-assured and secure guy. That's okay," she pulled me and made me trail behind her and went to the dance floor. "You'll be having a mindblowing night thanks to me," tumawa siya at malandi na sumayaw sa akin.

"They're going to visit here next week," biglang sabi ni Dinara na nagpatahimik sa akin.

"Huh?"

"Maldives guys," she smirked.

"Hell no..." umiling ako.

"You promised you'll be my plus one," she added.

Despite Dinara's pleas for me to join her and be her plus one, there is a part of me that is torn. I have a lot on my plate right now, and thinking about them kind of gets me idling and more confused on what and how to prioritize. 

I took a quick break to breathe outside after washing my hand inside the restroom. 

"Av," 

I walk pass by him, but he holds onto my wrist, refusing to let me go. Naalerto ako kasi ayaw kong magalit si Deuce dahil lang dito.

"Ano na naman, Angelo?"

"I said i like you," he said it with sincerity that it touched me.

"Hindi lahat pwedeng balikan. Hindi lahat ng umaalis ay may balak pa na bumalik. Masyado nang maraming oras ang dumaan at nagbago na rin ang takbo ng buhay ko."

"Alam kong may pagtingin ka sa akin kahit noon, Av. Magulo lang ang isipan ko kaya hindi ko masyadong naibigay ang oras ko sayo. Natigil ang buhay ko dahil hindi ko natuloy ang gusto ng mga magulang ko. Walang direksyon ang buhay at hindi alam kung ano ang tatahakin na landas,"
