I wished to see my best friend happy. She had suffered so much through her life and she deserved happiness.

I believed that Gavino would be able to give her that but he needed to grow the fuck up.

I was having dinner with Manuele and I wanted to talk to him about Gavino. We were going to a restaurant to eat burgers. I had dressed up and so had he.

We had this tradition of weekly Saturday dinners since we got together, it felt special every time.

We sat down in the restaurant and I smiled at him. "I can't believe you actually threw me in the water yesterday," I said and he smiled.

"It was the best part of my day," he replied and I rolled my eyes.

"Of course it was, next time I'll get you," I spoke and he nodded.

"Sure, I believe you," he responded and I smiled.

"Asshole. But anyways, I would be very happy if you would have a conversation with Gavino," I told him and he frowned.

"I would love to make you happy, Miranda, but I have had this conversation with Gavino multiple times," Manuele answered and I sighed.

"Please, I really think that he could make her happy," I said and Manuele shook his head.

"Gavino does not believe that," Manuele replied and I sighed.

"Do you?"

"I would love to see him treat her like before. But I'm afraid that he has a lot to work with before he can become that person again," Manuele told me and I nodded.

"Can you at least push him in the right direction, I'll try to push her," I spoke and he sighed.

"Don't expect to get results," he responded and I smiled.

"Thank you."

"But I also need to have a conversation with Christian because that fight yesterday was brutal," Manuele said and I nodded.

"Yeah, it really was. I feel so bad for Nora," I replied and he smiled.

"How do you feel about Ophelia being back?" he asked and I shrugged.

"I wish it could be permanent but I wasn't as close to her as some of the other girls were," I answered and he nodded.

"Are you happy?" he questioned and I smiled.

"Do I not seem happy?" I shot back and he smiled.

"I just want you to be happy, you never know if you are hiding your feelings," he spoke and I chuckled.

"I am happy, you make me happy."
