I woke up because Gavino was moving underneath me. I groaned and slowly opened my eyes, I saw him smile as he sat up and I laid back down on the pillows again.

"I'm sorry that I woke you up but it's 11.am and we need to get ready," Gavino whispered and I smiled. I sat up and we both got out of bed. But I still hadn't responded and he noticed.

I was brushing my teeth in the bathroom when I saw his michevious smile. What was he doing? I went out of the bathroom after I was done brushing my teeth and yelped as he hugged me from behind and started peppering kisses all over my cheeks.

I giggled and tried to turn around in his arms to meet his eyes. I hugged him and he smiled. "You didn't respond," he spoke and I nodded.

"No, it wasn't really a thing you respond too," I replied and he sighed. He pulled me closer by the waist and I smiled.

"I always want you to respond," he mumbled and I tilted his chin up. His gaze met mine and I placed a quick kiss on his lips.

"Let's go, the others are waiting," I told him and he grabbed my hand.

"I won't be able to look at Enzo now without knowing that he kissed Ophelia," Gavino answered as we started walking down the stairs.

"Get over it. It's a good thing," I said and Gavino scoffed. "I bet you wouldn't scoff if we did the same thing."

His glare turned soft and he smiled at me. This time he didn't respond, he just placed a quick kiss on my lips and dragged me down the stairs and into the kitchen.

Everyone was gathered and eating food. Tomorrow we were leaving for Spain again so we wanted to take advantage of the day we had together.

When we got back to Spain it would be two days before Christmas and I couldn't believe it. Christmas wasn't really a mafia thing but my family had always celebrated it anyways and I was so excited for Gavino to see it.

I didn't know how his family had celebrated Christmas but I didn't think that it would be like ours.

Our Christmas was always magical. All of my relatives, cousines and aunts would be coming. It had been so long since we had a family gathering like that.

Ophelia let out a sigh of relief as she saw me enter the kitchen. I let go of Gavino's hand and walked up to Ophelia and Miranda.

"What happened after we left the living room last night?" I asked Ophelia and she blushed.

"Don't say a word," she whispered and I smiled.

"I kind of already told Gavino," I responded and she sighed.

"Is it still awkward?" Miranda questioned and Ophelia shrugged.

"I was the one who made it awkward, not him. So I just need to get over it," Ophelia replied and I smiled.
