15 years later...

"Mommy, mommy! When is Uncle Samuel getting here?!" Yasmine yelled and I looked down at my little four year old as she ran towards me.

I crouched down and picked her up in my arms. "Oh honey! I told you Uncle Samuel isn't coming today," I told her and she pouted.

"Why not?" she exclaimed and I smiled at her. After being married to Gavino for three years our first baby boy came and now here we were, 12 years later with 5 children.

Romeo was our oldest son, 12 years old. Then Felicia, 9 years old. Theodore, 7 years old. Yasmine, 4 years old and Kyra our little one year old.

I loved all my children so much and my little girl in my arms who was wishing for her uncle was so cute.

A lot had happened in the years that had gone by. Alba and Enrico broke up after Gavino's birthday but they got back together a few years later when they were in a better place.

Miranda and Manuele were still going strong despite their rocky start and so was Luca and Noemi. Miranda and Manuele had two children and so did Luca and Noemi.

Laia and Carlo had gotten married and also had a few kids. Viviana and Hugo were still together. Cecilia and Álvaro were still together.

But despite the differences that Nora and Christian had in the beginning, they were now happily married with a child.

It was our annual family reunion with all my relatives and I was in the kitchen with Yasmine who were still whining about Samuel who unfortunately couldn't make it.

I took Yasmine's hand in mine and walked out to the backyard of the big house with her to the rest of my family.

I felt a hand grab my free hand and looked up at Gavino. "I've been looking for you everywhere," he said and I smiled.

"I had take care of Yasmine, she's not over the fact that Samuel isn't here," I replied and he kissed my cheek.

Noemi came up to us and picked up Yasmine. "Kyra is crying a lot," she spoke and I nodded before walking over to my little baby who was crying in the arms of my mother.

Kyra was my youngest child and was one year old. I picked her up and held her to me and eventually she calmed down.

After 12 years as a mother I had kind of gotten the hang of it. I saw that Romeo was playing football with his friends, Felicia was getting her hair braided by Laia and little Theodore was sitting with his lego.
