The last night of the Glastonbury Festival would be the beginning for the path of an incoming chaos. One that would eventually go on to redefine Britpop. And frankly, the battle of the two bands.
They had an open party on the field once the sun came down, and the stars fluttered in the sky. Valia couldn't stop admiring the view above her, seeing triple of the blurry amount she usually did.
After the attack she had prior to their show, she has gone on to take in more coke – and everyone else was too preoccupied with their own high serenity to realise that she was catching up to them.
Mel, the bassist's best friend, got back from her tour in the states a while back and decided to drop her a visit after the festival. And she came bearing gifts.
Acid.
The boys cheered heavily when the lead singer of Zenith straddled in with LSD wobbling in display, between her fingers.
They were all huddled on the grass, some of them lying back to stare up at the sky, already so fucked out of their heads. There were booze spilled all over, papers with lines of untouched cocaine, a small pack of ecstasy, cigarette butts sprawled over the grass, all the other bands and musicians that has also performed within the two days of the festival were found in almost the exact same position as Oasis.
Blur was surely somewhere too. Damon was in their tour bus grunting into the mouth of some lass he had flirted with. Fucking her endlessly, with a used needle of heroin thrown into the rubbish somewhere. He desperately needed both of it. He had been faced with a concerning wave of emotions, when Oasis left the stage – much to the crowd's dismay, and both bands only watching silently (well Blur, but Oasis was still drunk on adrenaline and laughing their asses off) while Valia and Liam were practically caught in a heavy make out session barely away from the eyesight of the 80,000 audience.
Blur, who had been watching from the sidelines, backstage, were disgustingly paralysed at the sight of the lead singer fondling on the girl's ass in front of all the other lads, her skirt hitched up to reveal her bottom. In a way, also trying to parade her around to his-so-called rivals, and pride cramming in his chest when Liam realises that Blur was staring attentively.
Alex, of course was enjoying the sight. Being given the blessing to stare at one of the finest woman in all of Britain's ass was like an admission to heaven. One could even say that the sight gave him a massive hard on. But Graham and Dave looked away, feeling a little uncomfortable over the fact that everyone had their eyes on them, lips parted at the sound of the girl's soft giggling and moans. Valia hadn't even paid attention to the stare she was receiving from Albarn himself. In her mind, he had somewhat rejected her — and she convinced herself that she didn't need him when Liam was wrapped around her pretty little finger.
"Knew we could count on you for some fun." Noel yelled over the loud atmosphere, smirking at the arrival of the Welsh girl. He approached her with a hand on her back, whispering something before Mel winked up at him.
