Noel was the next one of them to leave, dragging Meg along with him, much to her dismay. Meg terribly wanted to stay longer just so she could accompany and help comfort the girl. She felt awful with how the night turned out to be.
It started with them eager to celebrate the success of their single, and it ended with a series of damaged relationships scattered all around.
Noel didn't bother to say a word to Valia Mick throughout the whole thing, even when he had left — he didn't say goodbye. Not that he did so to anyone else, but still. The older Gallagher was undisputedly furious with the girl. He believed that she had lost all sense of control. For a second, he thought as though her mind had been locked in a shackles of ruins, there was no longer any essence in her being. Valia Mick had been sucked into the world of rock n roll and Noel Gallagher loathed it.
It made him feel queasy to hear about the affair between her and Damon Albarn. There was one thing that the tabloids had gotten all wrong about the bassist. She was the complete opposite of Liam Gallagher and everyone around her. She didn't just go into bed with anyone. She didn't do one night stands. She had an alluring essence that captivated people into being seduced by her, but she hadn't done as much as harmless flirtations.
That was until recently. Liam Gallagher, Damon Albarn and Christian Cartier. No doubt that it was a short list, but that was simply because she was slowly adapting to the lifestyle. And it was terrible to see.
And being lied to, over the person the Gallaghers' despised the most was ultimately a rough slap to their faces. That Valia Mick had an affair with their rival, and lied about it to their very own faces.
After Noel and Liam Gallagher left the party, Mel, Bonehead and Graham had dragged her into one of the empty rooms to comfort her, they handed her a glass of plain waiter so as to allow her to rehydrate. Nobody knew what to say, really, so instead they just provided her with their presence.
They didn't really choose sides. But it was as simple as the fact that everyone was in the wrong. Valia shouldn't have lied and been hypocritical about Liam sleeping with someone else during the events of Glastonbury, seeming that she had basically done the same. Tony shouldn't have waltzed in and humiliated them, but that would have been hypocritical too seeming as both Liam and Noel had done the same to him. It was a lingering problem.
Soon after, Val and Mel decided that they would return back to their hotel. But before they did so, Val searched the house for a certain blond boy.
She swung the bathroom door open, her face lighting up with relief when she had spotted him. And he had done the very same thing, that was when she realised that he wasn't alone.
Justine was tending to his busted face, with him sitting on the closed toilet, and her towering over him with a warm wet cloth patting over his injuries. She lifted her head up to look at the bassist, her face falling ever so slightly.
