"Here."

Valia let out a relieved sigh, planting a gentle peck on Noel's, the older boy shortly walking away to grab his guitar.

A cold cup rested in her palms, her Strawberry Lemonade. It was a soothing drink she had grown up with, something her mother made for her every time she would hide in her room, away from the clattering and shouting from the kitchen, or when her mother felt guilty for not being able to protect her little girl from the throws of her very own father.

Maybe that was why she got on so well with Noel and Liam, and why they both felt somewhat protective of her. Even if Liam was occasionally an ass to her when drunk. But he had the booze to blame for that. He turns into his own father when he was hazed out of drunkenness. Yelling and screaming, throwing things around, saying things he was bound to regret. It was perhaps why she always forgave him for it afterwards. Because she knew that it wasn't his fault. It was the hidden trauma that leaps out.

She made it a habit to drink it every time they stepped onto the stage for a show. It was there to soothe her whenever. And Valia was getting concerned when she wasn't able to get her hand on it minutes before they played, but Noel came in clutch – after yelling for someone to somehow bring one to her, threatening to throw hands if the girl played their show without even a sip of it.

A shower of peace painted her face, and Tony laughed at this, before asking her if he could get a few sips himself. He had never heard of a Strawberry Lemonade before, and was always curious whenever he saw her drinking it.

She gladfully shared it with him, ignoring the look she was receiving from Liam, who still hadn't spoken to her since the event at her apartment a week ago. Valia didn't hold a grudge over him, if anything she had forgotten all about it. But she wasn't going to give in unless he approached her with an apology. Something Liam Gallagher never did.

Even when she had been upset with him in the past, and the two would go on for days without a exchanging conversations, Liam never truly uttered sorry. Just randomly sneaking up behind her, looking all gloomy and sullen, wrapping his arms around her waist tightly and whispering about how much he missed her. Telling Valia that he could no longer go on another day without speaking to her. And when she asked him to say sorry, the boy would only devastatingly say, you know I am, Val.

This time though, Liam was finding it hard to wrap his head around the fact that she was getting acquainted with the boys from Blur, and he had his suspicions about Damon Albarn himself. Liam hated not being able to cozy up with the bassist and share her Strawberry Lemonade, with him sharing his Brandy with honey. That was their ritual.

And so he felt misplaced when it was Tony who had shared her drink instead, he tore his eyes away and headed out of the room.

She frowned at this. But shook it all away, he'll come around.
