The two British bands are celebrated for the rock-on music and infamous rivalry.
But it doesn't end there! On 14th August, both bands added fuel to their feud by releasing their newly singles. Blur, with their Country House and Oasis, with Roll With It.
Blur's Damon Albarn stated that his competitiveness got the best of him. When Oasis' 'Some Might Say' hit number one in the UK charts, it appeared that Liam Gallagher boasted about the success into their faces. As a result, Damon Albarn opted to coincide their release dates as a way of getting back at Oasis.
Well, it seems that Blur has won the battle! Their 'Country House' defeated 'Roll with It' to the number one spot in the charts, outselling Oasis by a 58,000 difference in sales!
Sorry, Oasis. Whomp whomp.
