Noel Hunting For Solo?

In late 2006, guitarist and co-songwriter of rock band Oasis steps into a mini 'solo' tour along with bandmate, Gem Archer, to promote the band's 'best of' and 'compilation' album, Stop The Clocks — which featured songs that were hand picked and chosen by Noel Gallagher himself.
The band was meant to go on the tour together, when frontman, Liam Gallagher refuses to abide and join the band for the promotion. It was reported then that after a heavy scuffling between the brothers, Noel put front a decision to perform the tour alone, without the rest of the band (all except for Gem Archer). Throughout the tense time, Valia Mick has remained suppressed from making any comments in regard of the situation, likely in hopes to maintain a neutral basis between the two Gallaghers.
The tour went on to be eminently successful, filled to the brim with semi-acoustic gigs. When asked about what it was like to head off without the band, Noel states that "It's a lot calmer and lot more peaceful". This was followed by a dig at the frontman and brother, commenting that "It would be a pain the arse if he was here. He doesn't do interviews because nobody wants to talk to him anyway. He doesn't like acoustic."
The band has evidently grown strained over the years, catalysed by Liam and Noel's brotherly fights, which often leads to large outbursts and conflict within the group. As the frontman leaves the responsibility of the band on Noel, forcing him to go on the tour on his own, there has been questions on whether or not the guitarist and co-songwriter will plan on heading for a solo career once and for all——now that he has gotten a taste of what it's like.
