Have you ever felt like anybody driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?

Dave had always considered Muna to be the most perspicacious person he knew. She was his first option when it came to difficult or life-changing decisions, and he needed her now.

She has been sleeping over with her new friend for about a week now, and whenever she comes around, she just spends an hour or two and leaves again.

Audrina finally moved out of her parents house, and this was going to be the first time she's been away from her twin brother. In fact, her entire family.

He and his siblings were used to living by themselves, without their parents, and Muna had weirdly been like a mother figure to them, even though she was third in line, but being the first daughter, it seemed like an expected thing. A Nigerian thing.

He was going to buy a wedding ring, but he needed to get some advice on what he should do. Coming home earlier than usual today, he wanted to buy it today.

Should he go to the jewelers with Kachi and buy the rings together, or should he go on his own and buy them?

He wasn't sure which was better, but within him, he knew. If he went with Kachi, she might like something so expensive, and he wouldn't be able to buy it. That would make him really sad.

But if he went alone, he would buy a pretty-looking diamond that his wallet could afford.

He had a dilemma, and TJ wasn't on speaking terms with him at the moment because of Muna.

He decided to go to her friend's place and see her. But he called her first to confirm her availability.

"Yo Moons! How're you?" He asked her when she picked up on the second ring.

"I'm fine, D. How're you doing holding up the fort?" She smiled after speaking.

"Well, it's different without you, but we're good."

She noticed some tension in his voice and wondered if it was about the wedding.

"What's wrong, D? Is everything going fine with the wedding plans?"

He hesitated before he answered, and Muna was worried immediately.
"Yo, Dave, there's still a wedding, right?" She asked again and held her breath.

"Oh, yes, yes," he laughed. "Kachi would kill me if I called off the wedding now."

Muna exhaled and rubbed her temple.
"Okay, so what's gotten you so worked up?"

"So, the thing is, I've not yet gotten a ring for the wedding."

"What!" Muna said it in a low voice, but the screaming in the tone could still be noted.

"Exactly. I meant to run by a jewelry store over the weekend, but I'm not sure if I should go with Kachi. What do you think?"

Muna thought for a few seconds, then connected her airpods to her phone before replying. She took a quick look at the bed and at Audrina.

She was fast asleep and turned a little bit. Muna reduced her voice a little when she spoke.

"Dave, listen to me. You should really start making some decisions yourself and realize that there will be many more decisions like this in your future."

Dave sat on his bed and rubbed his head.

"I know, Moons. I know. It's just that I'm really stretched out financially. I really want to get the best and shiniest ring for Kachi, but..."
