If you love someone, tell them...

"Audrina, are you here?" A voice called from the far end of the rooftop balcony.

Audrina recognized the voice and turned away from facing the entry, backing Muna, to lean on the rail. Her back to whoever it was.

It was Ralia.

"Oh, there you both are. I've been looking for you, Audrina."
That was a lie. She knew they were both here, seeing as she saw them go up and it was a one-way rooftop access.

"And you should be Muna, right?" Ralia said, pointing to Muna.

"Yes, I am. Why and how did you know my name?"

"TJ has been looking for you too... Said you've not been answering your phone and I'd probably find you once I found Audrina. Guess he wasn't wrong."

She said the last sentence with a bit of emotion that Muna noted but wasn't sure what warranted it.

Audrina hadn't turned yet but she listened.

"I wanted to see you earlier also," Muna told Ralia as she closed up the distance between them, partially.

"Oh really? Why"?

"Well, it's not so much of a big deal though. I only wanted to congratulate you on your upcoming POP and tell you I'd miss your regime as president of the charity cds group."

"Aww that's so nice of you to say. Thank you." Ralia replied with a forced smile.

"You're welcome. I've been congratulating the other excos too."

Audrina chuckled a bit when she heard Muna say this. It was almost as if she'd said it so Ralia didn't feel so special, since she also did the same for others.

She rubbed her nose briefly and started tapping her phone screen.

"How is Olumide, by the way?"Muna asked Ralia. "You two seemed to be in a long conversation, and that was what kept me from meeting you earlier."

Ralia scoffed. She had had enough of this girl, and besides, she wasn't the person she had come all the way up here to talk to.

Audrina turned and failed in an attempt to stifle a laugh.

"So, Olamide still has the hots for you, Ral?" She asked Ralia, her face now facing both of them.
Muna made a face when she heard Audrina refer to Ralia as Ral. It sounded too intimate to her.

"Uhmm you know how he can be. He knows now that I'm interested in someone else."

Audrina's eyes widened, and her jaw dropped too. Muna wasn't surprised at all, she had heard all of that earlier. She just didn't know who the 'someone else' was.

I want to tell the person before my POP and see if it's mutual.

"Wait. Stop right there," Audrina said, crossing her legs and pocketing her right hand.

"Do you mean to tell me, that you turned down someone who is crazy about you—obsessed even—for someone you like but don't know if they like you back? Really"

Ralia shifted her weight from one foot to the other, and glanced at Muna. She wanted this conversation to be between just them both, and Muna's presence was irking her slightly.

She moved close to Audrina and leaned towards her a bit.

"Can we talk somewhere private?"

Audrina was surprised but didn't show it.

"Why?" she asked.

Muna heard her request and immediately had a wild suspicion.

"Muna is chill. You don't need to worry about her." Audrina told Ralia, rather audibly.

"Uhmm, Audrina, I think Ralia has feelings for you, and I'm going to excuse myself so y'all can have the room to yourselves."

She picked up her tote bag and started leaving, while Audrina stood utterly still. The shock from Muna's announcement left her dumbfounded.

"I'll go find TJ. He must be losing his shit by now. Guy might've left without me, sef."

"Muna, wait, why would you say such a thing and just take off?"

She turned to Ralia and said, "It's not even true, right?"
