His dark hollow eyes closed suddenly, his familiar lips bouncing into mine, my tight grip on his chest loosening. His hand fell from my chin, gently wrapping around my sensitive throat. The strong taste of beer lingered on his swirling tongue, his hair swatting against my flustered face. I ran my hand over his scarred face, the burn marks tickling my finger tips. My face scrunched up slightly, seeing a flash of Freya's dead body.

I immediately pulled away, my shameful eyes falling low as he let out a small snicker.

"What's wrong?" He taunted, lifting up my red face.

"I have to go" I muttered, pulling away from his grasp.

"For now" he whispered.

I wiped over my wet lips, shooting a glance at the rest of the band, grins plastered on each purging face. I shuffled back into the private booth, stepping over Harris before plopping down. I kept my eyes low, picking at the tarnished nail polish on my hands.

"Where did you go?" Harris asked, tilting his head.

"The bathroom" I shrugged.

"Oh, here's me thinking you'd ran away" he chuckled, sipping on a cocktail.

I moved my gaze to Sophia, her cheeks omitting a pink tone as she smiled softly. I thought I'd changed but I'm still the same naive weak girl I used to be, bill proved that. I just broke everything I stand for, now I feel even more guilty. I never told Sophia but lately I've been having dreams of bill, some memories from when he was 'normal'. It's not like I could tell her, what would she think of me? I just kissed the person who killed my friends, that's unforgivable.

Harris placed his warm hand onto my thigh, my head falling onto his broad shoulder. The dazzling lights above splatting into my face, the music becoming louder by the minute.

I jumped awake from my short sleep, Harris snoring next to my frail body. I planted my head into my clammy hands, my sleepless eyes burning. My buzzing phone sat on the windowsill, the noise echoing through my sore ears. I snatched the noisy phone, flipping open the bright screen.

"How did you get this number bill."

04:47am
"Don't worry about that, I want you to meet me tomorrow"

                                                                                04:48am
                                                "As if. Delete this number."

04:48am
"I have something that could ruin Sophia's life, so either you meet me or I'll leak it :)"

                                                                                 04:49am
                                         "What are you talking about?"

04:49am
"You don't know?"
                                                                                 04:50am
                                                                               "??"

04:51am
"Remember that gig you got in vegas?
Unfortunately Sophia agreed to make
a sex tape in order to secure the spot"

                                                                                 04:52am
                                       "Bullshit. Sophia isn't like that."

04:52am
"Are you sure you want to risk that?"

                                                                                 04:53am
                                                                           "Fuck you."

04:54am
"I'll send you my details later on, be there for
5pm or don't it's your choice ;)"

                                   ————————

I slammed my phone shut, throwing it onto the cold windowsill, my head spinning. I know what bill is like, I don't trust a word that leaves his poisonous mouth. However I'll speak to Sophia in the morning, if it's true I can't let that get out. She's finally getting better, this would ruin everything, ruin her.

I let out a low sigh as I lay back down, pulling the tough blanket over my head.

-12:35pm-
I rubbed at my tired eyes, the space next to me lifeless, the sun beaming into my dull room. I pushed up my dry lips as I got up, cuddling myself into my dressing down. I headed downstairs, a sweet smell of pancakes running throughout the house. Jordan stood in the steamy kitchen, flipping the batter.

"Where's Sophia?" I hummed, leaning against the counter.

"Outside" he murmured, sucking his sticky fingers.

I nodded before opening the back door, Sophia sitting by the edge of the pool, her legs swaying in the blue water. My bare feet slid against the concrete, slouching down next to her.

"Afternoon" she joked, raising her eyebrows.

"Sophia, can I ask you something?" I sighed.

Her brows relaxed, her gaze turning to me in confusion.

"Did you sleep with the manager in Vegas?" I asked, my eyes low.

"yes." She sniffled, her lips curled down.

"Why?" I huffed, my jaw clenched.

"I knew how much you wanted that gig, I did it for us." She pouted.

"But he recorded it." I frowned, rubbing her tanned arm.

"I know. That was part of the deal, I didn't want to let you down again." She admitted.

"You should've talked to me first Sophia. You didn't know that guy, he could've sold it." I groaned, rubbing my head.

"Even if he does I still want you to carry on our legacy, it's only me in the video." She added.

"I'm not doing it without you!" I scowled, slapping my hands down.

"Hopefully you won't have to, I love our band." She sighed.

I clenched my eyes shut tightly, running my nails across my face. The realisation that I'd have to meet bill settling in, a shameful feeling following. She suddenly got up, placing a kiss on my head before heading inside. I glanced blankly into the pool, my toes sitting above it. The last thing we needed was this, I understand why she did it but she didn't need to. I'd do anything for Sophia, she's family to me now so if I have to meet bill then so be it.

I jumped up from the wet floor, hugging my elbows as I entered the kitchen. An extra plate sat on the side, syrup drizzled on top of the cooked pancakes. I sat up on the counter, biting into the fresh breakfast, the television softly playing opposite me..
