From nearly behind him, a shy woman with brilliant red hair and fox ears curtsied. Her tail swished, in bright contrast against her black dress.
"Let us show you your quarters."
Kaidan pointed out important features as they walked the magnificent palace. Portraits, dining halls, the shell of the original building.
The rooms they arrived at were tall ceilinged, draped in fabrics & tapestries. The pair audibly gasped at the sight.
"Woah..."
"Beautiful!"
The king chuckled at their enthusiasm. "You each will have privacy & comfort in your quarters. Now, let's get you properly dressed. Come this way to the dressing room."
