Alexan & Aurelia met in the courtyard to say goodbye.
"Take care out there, Lex."
They smirked. "You be careful here. Palaces are beast dens."
"Have fun with your beast~"
"He- Shut up!"
Meanwhile, King Kaidan watched on. A blur of red fur passed by. "Veronica?" She was in tears, and he put a hand on her shoulder. "Go where you need to be. It's alright."
The maid stared at him in shock. "Truly, your majesty?"
He smiled and nodded towards the group about to depart, and her eyes lit up. She ran to them to tell them that she would join, then raced back to her quarters to collect her belongings.
Lady Liryn, Siobhan and Q'inde came out to say farewell, staying with Aurelia. Maxim, Yukina & Veronica left with Alexan.
As the two parties turned to go opposite ways, the dim sun set.
