With new clothes laid out in their rooms, Veronica drew baths for them.
When they got back, Alexan stopped her after turning down the beds. "Thanks for your help. You're good with your hands, hm?"
Veronica blushed bright red, stuttering.
Aurelia smirked at their friend's antics. She waved to the king as he left, glancing at the fine silver gown he'd picked for her to wear tomorrow evening.
She looked back to see Alex was following the maid out. Their eyes glinted with excitement, subtly brushing Veronica's tail with her fingertips. "Don't wait up for me Ray. I got a date. Night!"
