Yukina, curious of the jewel, followed them back from Drahkelaan.
But as they entered the borders of the new kingdom, guards appeared from the mist. "Halt! Who goes there?"
The sudden shouting out of the silence made Siobhan & Yukina spook, vanishing on instinct by magic & wings.
"Alexan, Aurelia!" Q'inde shouted, drawing their sword.
Maxim hissed menacingly, & the guards faltered.
"For failing to cross at a checkpoint, you are under- um-!"
Alexan got into his face. "Take us to the Elf king. He'll want to see humans, yes?"
The pair levelled them with deadly glares, but as they looked to each other, the course was clear. "Fine. But one wrong move and it will be the last breath you ever take."
