In Devos palace, a guard rushed into the throne room.
Baltazar waved aside the visitor petitioning him and gestured to the soldier."Speak."
"Armies approach Devos!"
Gold eyes grew sharp in an instant. "Whose?"
"Many banners fly, my liege."
King Baltazar scowled and magicked into armour. "We end this quickly."
Aurelia and Jezebel followed him out of court to the palace steps, and soon an astonishing number of soldiers and royal commanders crested the hill.
King Kaidan and Velaan led them.
"On behalf of Sarana, we demand the return of the sun's light. We will fight for all life."
Baltazar roared. "We will not burn again! Attack!"
