That night Aurelia fought to get to sleep, desperate to try a piece of magic she'd only done by accident before. At last, she managed to dreamwalk.
The dimly lit jungle echoed with life far more frightening than any Earth jungle could be. Up ahead was the most dangerous creature of them all.
"Aldebaran!"
They looked back, decked in bizarre, ancient ceremonial wear, and smiled brightly. "Ah my little sun fae~ Finally you visit."
"I dont have much time. I... don't think I want to live forever. Certainly not in darkness. Can you help?"
They considered her words in surprise, and finally sighed. "I have a lot of dark elf blood you know. Shadow suits me. ...Come now, dont look at me with those big, sad green eyes. ...Fine."
