That afternoon, Lady Liryn left a note for the humans to meet her and drahke Yukina in the Royal Archives.
When they opened the doors, they both gaped at the incredible number of books, scrolls, and artifacts.
"This is insane," Alexan muttered.
"Is that a stuffed dragon head?" Aurelia whispered back.
"Welcome to my domain," Lady Liryn smiled, grinning at their awestruck expressions.
Yukina gestured to Alexan. "Come, let us study the amulet."
Again, she came close, sniffing at the strange other worlders' scent before taking the pendant in her fingers. Alexan cleared their throat, still somewhat worked up from the morning's activities.
Yukina cast spells while Liryn recorded the results. Aurelia ran to find the lady books, recieving instructions from her in whispers so not to disturb the drahke.
Alexan told them what effects happened to her or the jewel, magic flaring through the room. Answers revealed themselves one by one. Though far from all.
